Where Do I Start?

Start Early! It took years to collect all you have in your home. It will take time to sort and identify where things will go.
Throw out as much as you cannow to prepare for move day!
Plan of Attack!
• The floor plan is your “roadmap”
• Is it to-scale?
• Once you have established what furniture you will be bringing you will understand the amount of “STUFF” you will have room for

RIGHTSIZING BASICS!
RIGHTSIZING BASICS!
• Sort & Segregate: Organize into zones
KEEP * SELL * DONATE * TRASH
• If you don’t want / use items why pay to move?
• If items were well-loved or enjoyed – you’ve already received your “pay-back”.
Planning is bringing the future into the present so that you can do something about it.” – Alan Larkin
Sorting and Pre-move Organizing Tips
• Logical planning – room by room / closet by closet
• Sort “within” to keep the clutter down
Keep! Sell! Donate! Trash!
• Know there may be a YES, NO, and MAYBE

RIGHTSIZING BASICS!
• Start small and set a timer!
• One closet
• One cabinet
• Downsize to Right-size for your new location!
