Itabi n’ inzoga ni bimwe mu biyobwangenge (drugs)

buzima bw’ abatuye isi.

Ubushakashatsi bwakozwe n’ igihugu cya Canada bwerekana ko miliyali 11 z’ itabi (cigarettes), zikorwa buri munsi ku

isi (=itabi 127 314 buri segonda).Berekana kandi ko umwotsi w’ itabi

rimwe uhumanya kimwe n’ amamodoka icumi akoresha diesel (essence) mu gihe cy’ iminota 30.

Raporo y’ ishami ry’ Umuryango w’ Abibumbye ryita ku Buzima (OMS), yerekana ko abanywi b’ itabi bakabakaba miliyali 1.1 ku isi iriho abaturage miliyali 7.

Ubushakashatsi bwerekana ko abagera kuri miliyoni 6 ku isi bapfa buri mwaka bazize ingaruka z’ itabi, muri bo abagera ku bihumbi 600 (biganjemo abana n’ abagore), batanywa itabi ahubwo bazira umwotsi waryo ku bwo guhura cyangwa kubana n’ abarinywa.

Ishami ry’ Umuryango w’ Abibumbye ryita ku Buzima (OMS), ritangaza ko hatagize igikorwa, mu mwaka wa 2015 hazaba hapfa abagera kuri miliyoni 8 bazira ingaruka mbi z’ itabi.
