Thank You Parents/Carers. The school is incredibly
grateful for the donations that have been made by parents and
carers to the school fund. We have received £5,000 up to
December 2017. As previously advised all proceeds are going
towards resources for the school library. We have already
purchased some wonderful resources: The Week Junior, a
weekly current affairs magazine for children, a range of new
books including short stories and graphic literature which
includes classics, mythology and biographies, a spinner which
displays our range of Christian Fiction and Trinity logo
bookmarks. Currently on order is a returns trolley, table top
spinner and new fiction books.
Expansion Consultation. A reminder
that the deadline for the consultation on
whether Trinity should grow from 4 to 6
forms of entry closes at midday on 21st
February. Thank you to everyone who
came to the expansion consultation on
Tuesday 23rd January. It was really good to
see you, and to hear your thoughts and
suggestions. If you were not able to come to
the meeting and would like to see the
drawings that were presented, you can access
the via the school website at http://

Chaplaincy
"Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast and pray for me… My maids and I will do likewise.
And I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!"
Esther 5:16
This week we have been looking at the power of prayer. Around the world, Christians have been
celebrating the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity with special services, prayers and activities. Christian
unity is an issue very close to our hearts at Trinity, as we celebrate the fact that we are a multi-
denominational Christian school. In worship this week we talked about how prayer made a huge
difference in Esther’s life, in the history of the God’s people and can in our lives today.
Giving thanks for:
The students taking a role in delivering worship
The trips and visits that are going on this term
Praying for:
The consultation around the possible expansion of the school
The themes and books we look at in worship – that they would have an impact on all who hear them
Many thanks and God bless, Alice
Fry House Day in aid of Make a Wish and Bloodwize, - Friday 2nd
February. There is a very exciting programme of activities planned for Fry
House Day which is on Friday 2nd February. Students may wear their own clothes
to school for a payment of £1. Please be advised that bare shoulders and midriffs,
short skirts and shorts or large earrings are not acceptable. There will be lots of
activities, raffles and competitions that students can participate in. Please bring
some extra money to spend on the day. All money raised will go to our house
charities Make a Wish and Bloodwize and we are sure that students and parents
will want to support these very worthy causes.
