By Grace of God, the website of Rashid Abdul Rahman Alzayani Mabara was launched and an executive body was formed to follow up the organization’s charitable activities. We are hoping this organization will be a leader in charitable work and focusing to make it a model of excellence in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Among the achievements of the organization:

I’m glad in this occasion to wish you all happy National Day and Accession Day of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. This is a close to the heart occasion to all loyal and loving citizens to our beloved Bahrain. We are looking for more achievements in the New Year 2014 as we are bidding farewell to 2013.

Euro Motors has been appointed as the new Exclusive importer and dealer of another luxury automotive British brand, Jaguar. A Press Conference took place at the Jaguar Land Rover showroom on 27th October 2013 to announce this exciting news to the media.

Al ZAyANI’S PROJECT OF MANUFACTURING “WhITE FUSEd AlUMINA” WIll COMMENCE IN MARCh

As part of its investments in the community, Al Zayani investments signed a deal with Skyline Trading Corporation to build the Rashid Bin Abdulrahman Al-Zayani mosque in Qalali. The meeting was attended by Al Zayani Investment’s top management, and the chiefs of Skyline, as well as the heads of Gulf House Engineering who are the consultants for the project. The planned mosque lies on a space of 2810 sqm with a capacity for around 1230 male and female worshipers, it will feature a main praying hall for men, a woman’s prayer room, a courtyard, a Majlis for special occasions, and six class rooms for teaching the Holy Quran, with a capacity of 140 students total, eight shops will also open around the mosque area to ensure revenue for it, aswellasfourresidentialflatsforthemosque’sstaff. The project is expected to be completed by the end ofnextyear,andwillbeoneof thefirstsightspeoplevisiting Bahrain will be able to see when landing in the island.

Al ZAyANI INvESTMENTS SIGNS AGREEMENT TO bUIld MOSqUE

Al Zayani Investments has announced the current construction progress of the joint venture company “Imerys Al Zayani Fused Menirals” a manufacturing facility of a “White Fused Alumina” in Salman Industrial City, Al Hidd. Since the last newsletter of Q2 2013, a major and rapid progress took place. The Project Management Team, Contractors and the Consulting Firm have all worked towards the completion of the Pre-Engineered Building, Installation of the Processing Line, Arrival, Installation & Commission the Arc Furnaces and Handing over the Administration Building. Additionally, the key operation members have been appointed to start the recruitment process of their teams for the various departments. There is a plan to commission the entire plant, and to commence production and ship thefirstfewtonsofthewhitefusedaluminain March 2014. This prestigious project will be another accolade to the Kingdom’s industrial achievements brought by Al Zayani Investments.

As part of its charity activities, representatives from Al Zayani Investments have visited the Bahraini Association for Intellectual Disability and Autism where they met Ms. Khatoon Al Meer, the Association’s Supervisor and Ms. Eman A.Saheb, the Association Administration officer.

During this visit, Ms. Khatoon Al Meer and Ms. Eman A.Saheb briefed about the Association and its activities. Al Zayani investments donated a cheque to the Association and distributed gifts to the children.

FIRST MOTORS dRIvES ITS SERvICES TO A NEW hEIGhT WITh ThE INAUGURATION OF A NEW SERvICE ANd PARTS CENTER IN SAlMAbAd

First Motors, the exclusive dealers of Hyundai in the Kingdom of Bahrain inaugurated its all-new Hyundai Service and Parts Center at a ribbon cutting ceremony that took place on 22nd September 2013.

TheeventwasattendedbytopofficialsofFirstMotors including Managing Director of First Motors, Mr. Zayed Al Zayani, General Manager of First Motors Mr. Raed Mu’ti, Service Manager of First Motors Mr. David Benjamin and First Motors’ Department Managers.

The ribbon cutting ceremony was carried out by Mr. Zayed Al Zayani, in the presence of the otherofficialsandmembersofthemedia.

The opening of the new facility in Salmabad will be an addition to the already existing Hyundai Service facility located in Ma’ameer. Situated adjacent to the Salmabad Fuel Station and AMA University, the new Hyundai Service and Parts Center is closer to customers living in areas near Salmabad, Isa Town, Riffa, Hamad Town and renders it easier for them to gain

access to First Motors’ services.

The prime objective of the new service Center is to provide quick service to customers and complete all their servicing requirements in 1 day. With a capacity to manage an average of 30 vehicles a day, the new center will carry out all 5000 kms and 10,000 kms services. As for any major concerns; customers will be directed to the main facility in Ma’ameer.

Zayani Motors has announced the launch of the all-new Outlander mid-size SUV in Bahrain.

The month of October is the month of Breast Cancer Awareness. Think Pink Bahrain is a non-profitorganization thatwas foundedbyMs.JulieSprakel in 2004. Land Rover Bahrain supported Think Pink by sponsoring an awareness program among Euro Motors employees, organizing a drive event at the Bahrain International Circuit followed by a lunch at the Royal Golf Club. A Land Rover drive experience event has taken place on October 31. Land Rover provided 9 vehicles (2 Evoque, 2 RRS, 2 RR Vogue, 2 LR4 and 1 LR2). Highly trained BIC instructors were coordinating the drive experience along with Land Rover team. The attendees have been selected in coordination with the BBBF (Bahrain British Business Forum) and the UK Embassy. A total of 43 persons participated.

CElTIC TENORS CONCERT AT UPSTAIRS dOWNSTAIRS RESTAURANT

Jaguar Land Rover sponsored the Celtic Tenors’ concert at the Upstairs Downstairs restaurant on September 27. With over 1 million CDs sold over their career, the Irish brand the Celtic Tenors came for the second time in Bahrain. Two Land Rover vehicles were displayed at the Upstairs Downstairs restaurant, guests were offered test drives and a raffle was organized.The winner of the raffle, Mr. BrianO’Sullivan, won a test drive for a weekend with any Land Rover vehicle of his choice and a brunch for 2 at Upstairs Downstairs restaurant.

At the end the group donated a cheque to support Bahrain Diabetes Society .

Jaguar Land Rover sponsored the Chelsea Pensioners visit to Bahrain from November 5th until November 11th and the Poppy Ball which took place on November 7th at the Crowne Plaza hotel. The Poppy Ball is a prestigious annual White Tie event held in November and under the patronage of the UK Ambassador and the Royal British Legion Chairman. All funds raised contribute directly to the many vital and urgent causes and projects espoused by the Royal British Legion. Guests received test-drive vouchers and a Jaguar XK was displayed.
