We launched the “Mates Rates” programme for 10,000 Singtel Optus employees in October 2013.

An integrated employee discounts and reward & recognition programme, it has already achieved 56% employee take up and spend of nearly $2.8 million.

We also host Optus specific offers that they negotiated with their own supply chain on the site, making it a fully integrated hub.

We launched the “Perpetual Shopping & Lifestyle Discounts” system in 2013 for 1,500 employees.

An integrated employee discounts and reward & recognition programme, it has already achieved 83% employee take up and spend of $750,000.

We’re now adding our new Thank You peer to peer recognition product to it.

Since 2009, we have held the tough, international accreditation for Information Security Management : ISO27001.In June 2009, Reward Gateway became fully accredited by BSi to the stringent ISO 27001 international security standard. The scope of our assessment covered all of our operations around the world.

BSi’s strict three stage auditing process takes over a year and comprises multiple visits by their assessor.

Systems, processes, procedures, staff training and governance are all strictly vetted.

We have a full reassessment every year, with our latest in April 2014 in

which no non-conformances were identified.

Reward Gateway is a strong, financially independent, cash-flow positive company. As a group ended the financial year June 2014 with a strong cash balance and reported profitable, audited group turnover of £155m (equivalent to $300m Australian dollars).

No external cashflow funding requirement is foreseen for the Australian operations and all product development will continue to be financed from operations.

On December 1st, 2010 Reward Gateway PTY Limited was acquired, along with the rest of the group, by Inflexion Private Equity providing further financial backing and resources to the company.

PwC have been our Auditors since 2013, prior to that our accounts were audited by BDO.

Accounts

Reward Gateway PTY Limited is a wholly owned trading subsidiary of AEB Benefits Group Ltd, our UK intermediate parent company, who are a 100% guarantor to Reward Gateway PTY Limited.

We do not publish separate trading accounts for subsidiaries but can supply a copy of our audited accounts for Reward Gateway, the parent company of Reward Gateway PTY Limited for the last 3 years on request.

Our most recent audited accounts are for the year ended 30 June 2014.

With profitable trading activities, the group balance sheet strengthened with shareholders funds up from £3,197,00 in 2013 to £2,274,00 in 2014.

We have a Dun & Bradstreet rating of A1

Our Dun & Bradstreet rating gives Reward Gateway PTY’s parent company a ‘Risk of Business Failure’ rating of A1 which D&B categorises as:

“Represents a minimum risk of business failure".

Only 5% of businesses have a lower risk of failure.

Our entire model and proposition is centered upon 100% Retailer Independence.

Every single dollar and centof commission, rebate and discount available from retailers goes to employees.

Nothing goes to our profit line except for employer fees.

This gives employers three important benefits:

1. We guarantee long term savings, with the biggest discounts for staff.

2. Our offers are genuine and most can be used on top of existing sales, price promotions and with other coupons.

3. Employee data is never sold, loaned or given to anyone for marketing or other purposes.

Our model works for retailers as well as employers.

Globally, we handled equivalent of $500 million AUD of revenue for retailers last year.

We have no charges for retailers, all of their spend goes on the discount to influence the customer.

This gives us incredibly strong, strategic relationships with retailers.

For nearly every retailer in our established markets of UK & Australia, we are viewed as

their largest single customer.

CashbackWe take a very strict approach to Cashback handling and provision and are unique in the industry in doing this.

Fully-funded Cashback

We fully fund all Cashback recorded in member accounts as soon as we have received the incoming payment from the retailer. No amount of received Cashback is used for the day to day running of Reward Gateway PTY or any subsidiary or parent company. This gives us and our clients the security that if all members withdrew their Cashback simultaneously there would be no impact on our operations or finance.

Where a member has left employment and has left an amount of Cashback in their account without withdrawing it, we advertise that they can withdraw the funds for 3 months. In effect we hold their account open for a full 12 months, just in case; in practice this policy does not have a material effect as we find almost all employees withdraw their Cashback within the period and the few that leave some spare change behind tend not to come back after 3 months. After 12 months, any money left in an closed member account is taken to Reward Gateway’s profit and loss account to offset bank charges and other finance costs.

Cashback funds ringfenced in a “Client Funds” bank account

The full Cashback balance for all live members is held in a separate, dedicated bank account with HSBC. This bank account is designated with HSBC. These funds outside of Reward Gateway’s normal business cashflow.

We respect employee privacy 100% and always have done.

Introduction

Separate to data security, but as important is the privacy of employee data. Whereas data security is concerned with an unauthorised person gaining access to data, privacy is concerned with our intentional use of the data is and when, if ever, this is transferred to third parties

100% Privacy guaranteed. No exceptions.

Our rules on privacy are simple and have never changed. We do not sell, rent, lease or lend your employees’ personal data to any other third party. That’s it, no exceptions.

So when we promote offers to your employees that we think they would like (assuming that they have opted in to receive them) it is Reward Gateway that sends the email and the name and personal information is never given to a third party.

Compliance with Australia’s 10 National Privacy Principles.

Since launch in Australia, Reward Gateway’s service and procedures have been designed to be compliant with the 10 National Privacy Principles as set out in the Privacy Act. We have a clear privacy policy which is displayed on the Reward Gateway website
