September 16th 5.00pm – Parent meeting, all welcome
September 18th – Security fencing erected
October 5th – Car parking reduced. Allow extra time to get into the car park
November – Building begins
September 2016 – Anticipated completion date
October 2016 – Classes move into the new learning areas.
We will keep you informed of this exciting project as information comes to hand.
Safety
As we move towards the final week of term we encourage everyone in our community to take extra care with their safety both in and around school. Think safe, play safe, work safe!
Showing appreciation
Everyone wants to feel appreciated. For many, appreciation is just saying thank you. But appreciation only begins with saying thanks. At St Mary's we encourage and model showing appreciation. Join us as we seek to build a positive learning community where each person is appreciated for the unique gifts they bring to our community.
Respectful Behaviour
There have been a number of instances recently of adults coming into our community and yelling and abusing staff. This is bullying behaviour and is not acceptable. Please be respectful of others in our community.
Thank you
As we come to the end of another Term I take this opportunity to thank you everyone for their contribution to the smooth running of the school. To our wonderful teachers, aides, students and parents we could not possibly operate without you. Please cake over the break and enjoy your holidays.

Prayer for Performers
O God of creation bless those who are brave enough to perform in eisteddfods. Who by sharing their gifts in speaking, percussion and singing make the world a more joyful and beautiful realm. Through their labors they teach us to see more clearly the truth around us. In their inspiration they call forth wonder and awe in our own living. Bless all who are created in your image.
O God of creation please bless our teachers and parents who patiently helped to prepare us. Pour your Spirit upon them and calm their weary nerves. We pray that their hearts may sing in the memory of our performances and their works be fulfilling.
Alleluia and Amen.

POSITION VACANT - UNIFORM SHOP
If you would like to help in a co-ordinating role in the Uniform Shop, please either see Tanya or Olga in the uniform shop or you can leave your name with the class teacher or at the office.
The Parents & Friends Committee sincerely thank Tanya Fleming for her support in running the school uniform shop. Without Tanya's efforts, we would not have this facility. The school now needs your help so that the uniform shop can remain open.
