ENGINEERINGPOWER SOLUTIONSOur Engineering division has developed in-house technology, based on an integrated management system to centralize in a single electronic control unit all the components that interact in our Hybrid Power Solution; engine, alternator, battery and renewable energy connections.

Engine. One of the most efficient variable speed engines on the market has been developed. It offers one of the most optimal consumption curves recording a reduction of 20% when compared with other existing hybrid generators on the market, and up to 40%, when compared with a standard genset.
Alternator. Our DC alternator incorporates an electronic voltage regulator -AVR- that allows direct battery charging. In this way, the device has an intermediate external charger, thereby improving system efficiency.
Environmentally friendly. Reduced noise, emissions and fuel consumption.
Integrated Management System. Our mission was to develop 100% HIMOINSA technology, an integrated management system based on the development of in-house electronics, the CEM7V control unit.
The CEM7V control unit is connected, via CAN, to the electronic engine control, the electronic voltage regulator of the alternator and the battery manager. It also interacts with the renewable energy available and connects
it to the system, if demanded. As a result, the variable speed, hybrid genset provides 48VDC for telecommunications applications. In addition, it has a 230 AC auxiliary power output.
Automatic. The control unit is designed to act automatically, following the parameters already set by the Engineering division to optimise equipment operation by 100%.
Manual. The manual mode allows you to program parameters according to customer needs. In this case, the batteries, generator set, renewable energy and operating performance are parameterized.

The CEM7V control unit is the heart of the HYBRID POWER SOLUTION. As a result of the development of a 100% HIMOINSA electronic device, designed to monitor and protect the generator, battery, charging system and renewable energy connections. It monitors the engines rpm, the electronic voltage regulator (AVR) of the alternator, for direct battery charging, as well as independently monitoring each battery, its charge status and temperature.

OPTIMAL ENGINESELECTING AN
Diesel engines can suffer damage as a result of misapplication or misuse - namely internal glazing and carbon buildup. Usually, below 30% of its maximum power, the generator set can cause problems.
However, this engine has been adapted to operate at low power, without damaging the equipment and without needing fictitious, Dummy Load, resistance.

VARIABLE SPEED. Engine designed to operate at a wide range of revolutions, from 1200 to 3000 rpm, to generate the maximum power demanded, optimizing consumption.
Prolonged MAINTENANCE periods of up to 1000H. Hybrid Power Solution generator sets can operate efficiently without any kind of maintenance for four months.
Hybrid Power Solution generator sets extend the life of the genset for a long time because the operating periods are divided into 8 hours of generator set operation and 16 hours of battery power every 24 hours. This means that the useful life of the equipment has been tripled.
We have designed hybrid generator sets that can operate efficiently without any kind of maintenance for four months. Whereas a standard genset with the same 1000H maintenance KIT requires maintenance every month, our Hybrid Power Solution only requires one every four months.
Given that the Base Transceiver Station are located in remote places which are difficult to access, we have developed autonomous equipment that does not require constant monitoring, facilitating the work of Telecommunications management companies and significantly reducing OPEX (Operating Expense), cost of operation and maintenance of equipment.

HPS generator sets incorporate construction elements designed to allow operation in places with extreme weather conditions. The white colour used absorbs less radiation, protecting the equipment from high temperatures. The treatment used on the canopies protects it from erosion, ice and cold. Sand traps and vandal-proof screws have also been incorporated to prevent theft in the remote places where they are located.
