So you’ve found a photographer who’s style you love. You’ve browsed through their
images online and know they can take amazing photographs. You’ve spoken to
them either on the phone or via email and he or she has asked to meet you in person
for a Pre-Wedding Consultation.
This is great news! You may not realise it, but professional photographers choose their
clients too! If you’ve been invited for a pre wedding consultation it means they love you
as much as you love them and thier work! as much as you love them and thier work! Hooray! (Remember that ‘connection’ I mentioned earlier?)

for you to view our images in person, touch and feel our stunning albums and go through
all the exciting parts of your wedding photography.
This guide will explain what happens at your Pre-Wedding Consultation and also includes
a fabulous list of questions you may want to think about or ask us when we meet!a fabulous list of questions you may want to think about or ask us when we meet!

THE PRE-WEDDINGCONSULTATION
Pre-wedding Consultations usually happen in your home, but we can meet anywhere
- a local coffee shop, bistro or quiet pub. Both my husband and photography partner
Ian and I love hearing how couples met, where he proposed, the things you love doing
together and really getting to know you both. You can ask us anything you like too!
We’ll chat about your wedding and discuss
things like the theme and atmosphere you
want to create for the day and portray in
your wedding images.
Are you planning a luxurious black tie affair,
a vintage or hollywood themed day or perhaps
your day is classic and traditional. your day is classic and traditional.
What things are important to you? How do you
envision the day itself?
Be sure to tell us about your colour schemes
and styling ideas, who will be in your Bridal Party
as well as anything else you’d like!

THE PRE-WEDDINGCONSULTATION
Once we know a little more about the day itself, Ian and I will help you both to create a
photography collection that is perfect for your wedding. You may like to choose our All-
Inclusive Wedding Collection, or you may feel that selecting particular items from our
A La Carte Wedding Menu is a better fit for you.
After you’ve seen our beautiful albums and proof prints, we can start planning a draft
timeline for your wedding day. Don’t worry, it doesn’t need to be too indepth at this time,
but knowing things like the Ceremony and Wedding Breakfast start time will help us in
planning time in to your day to get all your beautiful creative images and your group
portraits scheduled in.
