Dan Duffy joined United Country as part of a successful effort in February 2006 to secure growth capital to support the rapid growth of the United Country system. He serves as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors. In his role as CEO, Dan is principally responsible for the establishment and execution of a long-term strategy for United Country designed to deliver competitive advantage to United Country franchisee partners as they operate in their local markets and serve their clients.
Prior to joining United Country, Dan spent nearly 20 years focused on serving clients in a number of senior executive positions. Most recently Dan served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft’s “2005 Global Partner of the Year” and largest North American Microsoft Business Solutions partner with over 20 offices serving 12,000 clients across the United States and the U.K. Prior to his tenure in the technology services market space, Dan served as the Chief Development and Financial Officer of an online business-to-business exchange serving the auction and brokerage market for industrial equipment and was a founding member of the Chicago practice of The Center for Strategic Transactions, a division of Ernst & Young L.L.P., providing strategic and corporate finance advisory services to Fortune 100 companies as well as high growth technology, product and services organizations across multiple industries.

With a 20 year background in marketing and sales, helping to build such national brands as Coca-Cola, Winston Cup NASCAR, RJ Reynolds, Minute Maid, Community Coffee, and numerous other well known brands, Mike is bringing this experience to build recognition and understanding of the United Country Real Estate brand with real estate buyers and sellers. Most recently, Mike served as Vice President of Community Coffee and prior to that as a Vice President of Marketing for Coca-Cola. In addition to branding initiatives, Mike has expertise in sales, building strategic partnerships and launching new programs.
David Dickey – Chief Operating & Technology Officer
Most recently, Dickey was Sr. Vice President Professional Services for ePartners. ePartners, the Microsoft 2005 Partner of the Year, specialized in delivering, integrating and customizing solutions tailored specifically for each client’s business needs. The group has a concentration in Microsoft .Net programming, Portal development services, systems integration, and a focus on ePartners’ core ERP and CRM product offerings. Prior to joining ePartners, Dickey was Director of Worldwide Professional Services at Pervasive Software where he led the services group in both North America and Europe. The group focused on solving complex database problems and had a specific practice in replication and disaster recovery solutions.
Mr. Jones has been a professional auctioneer since 1978 after attending North Texas State University where he studied business and journalism. Prior to joining United Country, he served as President of Mike Jones Auction Group, Inc., a national real estate and auction company for 27 years. He is considered an expert in auction sale management and facilitation, bid calling, marketing & advertising and business development. Jones joined United Country in 2006, today United Country is the largest integrated real estate and auction company in America with offices in Costa Rica, Panama and Mexico. Jones served as the 55th President of the National Auctioneers Association, is past-president of the Texas Auctioneers Association and is a 2005 Texas Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame Inductee. Jones is past chairman of the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation-Auctioneers Education Advisory Board. He was named the 1998 International Auctioneer Champion in Oklahoma City and was the 1995 Texas State Champion Auctioneer. Jones is the founder and Director of the Texas Auction Academy training school where he has trained over 2000 auctioneers. He has conducted educational classes and seminars in over 30 states and was the Keynote speaker at the South African Institute of Auctioneers National Convention in 2003. Jones was elected to the National Auctioneers Foundation Board of Directors in 2010. He has conducted over 2,500 auctions globally for Fortune 500 companies, International banks and others. Shawn Terrel CAI, AARE brings a very extensive live and internet auction background to our executive management team. He has more than 18 years of professional real estate auction and bid calling experience across the United States. Mr. Terrel is currently on the Board of Directors of the National Auctioneers Association and is a Past Chairman and President of the Oklahoma State Auctioneers Association. Kevin Oldham brings over 14 years of marketing and advertising expertise to the United Real Estate team. Prior to joining United Real Estate, Oldham launched a marketing firm that catered exclusively to real estate developers, offering strategic solutions designed to generate traffic for their projects. Prior to this entrepreneurial venture, Oldham offered marketing services for Kansas City’s largest residential real estate broker and for AMC Entertainment where he was instrumental in launching Virgin Mobile in the United States on behalf of Best Buy.
