I. Introduction
At present, the Engineering and Architecture Department is offering four 5-year degree programs,
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Bachelor of
Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering and Bachelor of Science of Architecture. It
has the population of !" students for the four degree programs. #he mem$ers of the faculty
consists of si% full time faculty for the BSCE program, four full time faculty for the BSCpE, four full
time and four part time faculty for the BSECE and four full time faculty and t&o part time faculty for
the BSArch.
'ver the years, the department has gained its reputation of producing competent engineers. #his
is evident $y the high passing percentage in the licensure e%aminations administered $y (rofessional
)egulation Commission. Its graduates *ualify to various fields of practice here in the (hilippines and
even a$road. #he Department continues to strive to further improve its service to $e a$reast &ith the
latest trends in technology and in the industry so as to provide sufficient training to the students.

&ea+nesses are easily identified. 6aps on re*uired competencies could $e set as goals to $e
achieved. #his &ould also $e diverted as a motivation tactic $y setting the direction to&ards an
individual:s competency and s+ills development.
#hrough this program, accounta$ilities are also identified, &hich is still lac+ing in our
current state. #here are no apparent accounta$ilities to each role, $ut there are a lot of
e%pectations. #here lies the difficulty $ecause these leads to assumptions, hence confusion on
the personnel part, of &hat is really encompassed $y the role the he plays in the organiation
