FS2 Parents Lunch

This week we welcomed 72 FS2 grown-ups to have lunch with their children. Look out for our upcoming blog post to see some photos of a very successful lunchtime!

We would like to thank Mrs Donagher and her team for feeding so many people! Staff at school keep a close eye on how much children are eating. If you have any questions about your child at

lunchtime please talk to your class teacher.

Class Assemblies

Due to space restrictions and to

comply with fire regulations and

capacity limits, only one adult per child

is permitted. Additional adults

attending will be turned away at the

door.

Many thanks for your

cooperation.

We look forward to welcoming

Ryder Class Parents next Friday 4th

October at 9.05am.

Online Safety

This week School Council have been reviewing the rules

we follow when learning online and using laptops and iPads.

Once we have finished this and produced our new posters we will send them home for you to see.

In the meantime to ensure you are making your child’s online experience as safe as possible have a look at the

internet matters website.

Reading at Home

When reviewing reading records we can see a direct correlation between the amount of times a child reads at home and the

amount of progress they are making. Reading at home is vital and it is never too late to embed this excellent habit. If you require any help in this area, let us know. Please be aware, class teachers will

be talking directly to you if they have concerns about the frequency of your child's reading practice.

PTA Christmas Fair meeting, Wednesday 23rd October, 8pm,

Infant School

It’s time to think about Christmas! If you would like to be involved in helping to organise this year’s fair, please do come along to our planning meeting. We need lots of help! The fair is a massive fundraiser for our school and lots of fun for the children

but could not run without the support of so many parents and carers.

Thank you in advance. The PTA

Breakfast Club Breakfast club bookings must be booked and paid for via the gateway by 2pm the previous day, in order for us to make sure we have sufficient staff ratios and to ensure a safe and happy environment for your children. No bookings will be accepted after the 2.00pm deadline.
