  • Remaining installion as covered under the 12 Gev. Upgrade Status

We aim to complete the list in the following sequence:

Ø The SHMS wire chambers are ready and will be installed before the end of August.Ø The Noble-Gas Cerenkov will be test fitted and removed again in prep for the dipole by Sep.

2nd.Ø Install and connect Current Leads for 2nd Moeller Quad by Sep. 9th. Ø Install and align scattering Chamber by Sep.13th. Ø The Hall C Technician group will assist engineering

installing and testing Q2, Q3 and the dipole.Ø Installation of vacuum spool pieces between magnetsØ During the commissioning of the Dipole the downstream beam line will be installed.

  • Downstream beam line status

    • All medium angle beam line components are here.• The gate valve was cleaned and reassembled but has not been

leak tested. • 2 BPM pipe sections show vacuum leaks and need welding.• Anchors for the support posts are in place.• Assembly will take ~1 week.
