Recipe for success - booking Hospitality on Bluerunner

Organising an event and not quite sure where to begin with the catering? Bluerunner is an easy to use online system to book your hospitality. This system enables you to manage your hospitality catering bookings more e�ectively and e�ciently.

It’s as easy as shopping online; just enter in your cost code, choose your items, tell us where and when you want it and add it to your basket – the rest is up to us.

Step by stepOnce you know when and where the event is taking place book it onto the system so we know it’s coming up, don't worry orders can be amended or cancelled at a later date.

Don’t forget when choosing a building and room that it is suitable for your hospitality to be served in. Make sure it has su�cient space for what you have ordered and don’t forget to check it has table provided. Eating on your knee is not a good look!!!

You only need to enter one single booking for an all-day event, no need to enter separate bookings for each refreshment break. Saving you time and stress!

To make sure everything is correct with your order we ask that you please stick to our ordering times.- Order up to 72 hours before for food orders, remember this doesn’t include weekends, if you are wanting an order on Monday you will have to place the order on

- Drinks can be ordered up to 48 hours before your event and this also includes pre-packed items (biscuits, cookies, Fairtrade bars).- Once an order is made it can be amended but still has to be within the above timescales. The system will not allow you to make changes once these timescales

You can tailor your order to �t speci�c needs, dietary requirements or add bespoke items..- Tea and co�ee comes automatically with milk so there is no need to order milk separately. Soya milk is also available to order if your guests require it.- Enjoy one of the many options o�ered in our menu – shake it up with platters- Delicious Hot fork bu�ets are only avaliable in selected venues and spaces to ensure your service is enjoyed by all.

And please don’t forget to leave all cutlery and crockery in the room when you leave and our team will come and tidy up after.

Flowery, roses, violets and potpourri, as well as blackcurrant and berry fruits with notes of spices. The palate is pleasant, vinous and intense, combined with a lively and velvety dry �nish and with spicy notes of black pepper.

Straw-yellow with light greenish hue. Intense, with white fruits and �owers. Fresh and delicate Trebbiano, proud to express all its Italian origin, with a good balance between scents and taste.

Lemony on the nose, with a delicious balance in the mouth, this Pinot Grigio is a very easy-to-drink dry white with medium alcohol and a gorgeous lingering �nish.

Shiraz has found its natural home in the sun kissed Australian vineyard, where it produces a ripe, fruit forward style loved for its immediate approachability. Our Reserve Shiraz is no exception, with a rich nose redolent with red and black berry aromas and a smooth, textured palate dripping with juicy dark fruits, hints of chocolate and lively spices.

Brooding, deep red in colour with black fruit aromas. The palate is medium bodied and dry with soft, ripe blackcurrant �avours and balancing structure, �nishing rounded and juicy.

Deliciously crisp and fresh, packed full of vibrant and long lasting lime, gooseberry and tropical fruit �avours.

Taste Northumbria is the University’s chosen provider of hospitality and catering across all campuses. Before booking any hospitality, we ask that you ensure that the room you hope to use is available and is suitable

for the consumption of food. It is your responsibility to ensure tables and sufficient area of space has been setup ready for the delivery of your Hospitality order. It also helps us enormously if you can state when the room will be available for us to clear.

The food options in the brochure are for service and delivery between 8.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.A member of our team will be happy to discuss possible options if your request falls outside of these hours. Charges may apply.

If you’re ordering a bu�et, we would require 72 hours’ notice to ensure we have the freshest produce available.Vivreau water will be presented in branded bottles and food will be presented accordingly.

Additional charges may apply for bespoke requests or any non-returned display wares

Water (750ml) will be delivered in a branded water bottle and food served on equipment such as boards and slates. These must be returned otherwise you will be charged.
