Here are the Job Details: Title: Global Payroll Analyst Duration: 12+ Months Contract Location: Sunnyvale, CA Description : The Payroll Analyst will ensure that all processes are executed appropriately and in a timely manner for the NetApp Payroll Team. The role will focus on Canadian payroll operations, as well as working with the international teams to establish and maintain standardized processes, metrics and reporting, and special projects. The analyst will also have some responsibilities in USA payroll as well as providing backup to the USA team as needed.

The successful candidate will maintain cost forecasting, maintains global metrics, work planning, estimation and prioritization to optimize performance with Senior Payroll Manager to define standards and reusable approaches for Payroll operations. This individual manages effective internal/external client relationships within own area of responsibility, and builds client relationships in the wider group or unit.

Essential Functions: Canada

o Process bi-weekly Canadian Payrolls

o Facilitate bi-weekly Canadian Payroll team calls/meetings o Manage payroll communications with Canadian population pertaining to ESPP purchase, shutdown, vacation payout and yearend processes o Work closely with direct Canadian payroll vendor (ADP COS Canada) in addition to developing and maintaining relationships with the HR Benefits team as it pertains to Canadian benefits and policies o Work closely with ADP COS and retained NetApp Payroll teams on Year-End process through distribution of T4’s

USA

o Ensure garnishment transactions are processed timely and accurately o Manage garnishment escalations to completion including third party payment reconciliation o Understand and maintain payroll expense forecasting model o Tracking of outstanding tax items, including amendments, penalties and maintenance of new jurisdictions o Payroll liaison for collection and audit of contributions for semi-annual ESPP purchase

LatAmm

o Process Semi-Monthly and Monthly payrolls for 4 Latin America countries: § Argentina § Brazil § Chile § Mexico o Manage payroll communications with LatAm employee population pertaining to ESPP purchase, shutdown, vacation payout and yearend processes o Work closely with direct LatAm payroll vendors in addition to developing and maintaining relationships with the HR Benefits and Legal teams as it pertains to LatAm benefits and policies o Work closely with payroll providers on Year-End process through distribution of T4’s · On-going Global discussions with various business units to identify global initiatives and define standards for new process improvements · Create and maintain standardized global payroll metrics

· Ad-Hoc reporting requests, as needed · Assist in projects, as needed · Cover for team members in back-up role for vacation and/or high-volume work efforts

Requirements: Qualifications

· Minimum of 6 years of payroll tax accounting experience fast paced company environment · International payroll experience required, especially Canadian Payroll · Experience with ProBusiness/ADP payroll systems. Strong GL accounting experience. · Expert level qualifications with R&R Report Writer · Strong understanding of Payroll Tax laws as they relate to employee payments, equity transactions and immigration issues. Experience with LOAs and garnishments.

· Strong analytical & GAAP accounting skills · Strong customer service and communication skills · Strong organization skills, attention to detail and follow through to resolve any outstanding issues · Strong time management skills · Strong written and verbal communication skills; appropriately communicates with all levels of customers from assistants to Sr. Executives · Ability to adapt to changing environment and support of multiple customers/partners · Ability to analyze/interpret data and take appropriate action. · Ability & interest in training other team members. · Working knowledge of email, Internet Explorer, Excel and Access.
