Book Suggestion: “Froggy Goes to School” By Johnathan London
Behavior Tips for Morning Madness Have your child pick out what they want to wear the night
before to save time and stress in the morning. Give them 2 choices; both of which are approved by you.
Try to avoid power struggles in the morning by giving your child choices like: “Do you want to brush your teeth or hair first?”
Give periodic warnings about time remaining before departure so children aren’t surprised and angered when it is time.
No TV/Electronics until children are all ready to go to school so they don’t get distracted and are motivated to complete tasks.
