Brief description of Apps

English Alphabets : Over 10 applications built based on different methodologies. Few are purely watch and learn style for kids under 3 years old. Most are more engaging, question and answer / puzzle style.

Video : video of alphabets capital letters, lower case letters and cursive letters.


Flash Cards : Capital letters, Lower case letters and Cursive letters shown as flash cards. Kids interactively use navigation buttons to traverse between alphabets and click on alphabet to hear alphabet pronunciation.


Tracing : Application suggests the trace for kids to trace capital letters, lower case letters and cursive letters.


Alphabets and its words : Display 2 part flash card with alphabet and word that start with alphabet. Has alphabet and word voice over

Tap on the alphabet as per voice : App has 3 sub modules – Based on voice over prompt, kid has to tap on an alphabet, or moving alphabet or one of alphabets between upper case, lower case and cursive letters.


Fill in the blanks : App has 3 sub modules - fill in the blanks, fill before and after letters and fill in remaining letters. All this modules is of multiple choices.

Form the alphabets : In this module we have the pieces and we need to arrange the pieces to form the alphabet.


Joining the dots : Join the dots in alphabetical order, starting from A, to form a image.
