For this task, your will need to refer to Unit 1: Writing (Learning from a mistake) & pg16 of

the Stop Thief booklet. Read the mentor texts

given in Unit 1 to gather some ideas on how to plan your story.

Brainstorm ideas of your own on pg10-12. Then, select 1 story

idea to plan your story. Use the plot structure

template on Pg13. Next, brainstorm some

good words and phrases to help you with your writing and

write these on Pages16 of the

handout

For this task, your will need to refer to Unit 1: Writing (Learning from a mistake) & pg29 of

the Stop Thief booklet. Read through pgs14

and 15 to gather some ideas on how to start

your story. Referring to your plan on pg13 of the Writing

Unit 1, write your composition using

good beginnings and onto your writing paper.

For this task, please refer to your

Situational Writing booklet. Then, attempt SW informal Practice 2

on a piece of writing paper. Once you have completed your writing,
