With our National Day just around the corner, the children were busy

creating colourful ornaments to celebrate Singapore’s birthday!

The children decorated the paper plate, coloured their favourite icons and hang them up.


Love 1

The Love 1 chose and coloured their favourite animal cut-outs.

Once completed, they could not wait to use their fingers to create walking animals!

TEAMWORK is greatly needed in this game.

We learn to lead and to follow.

A Bethany Kindy circle was formed and everyone linked hands.

Several groups of 3 or 4 were called out and our task was to attempt to catch the team before us,

while weaving through the people of the circle and with our hands linked.

The leader has to set a pace that all members can follow and

each member will have to do our part to follow the leader and keep our hands linked.


There were times where the two ends of the group both took the leader role leaving those in the middle stuck!

That is all a part of the learning process – to be conscious of the instructions given for the gameplay.

A request from the children – that the teachers played as well! And played they did!

Love 1 & 2

Locomotor skills: Jumping, Twisting, Jump and Twist

Instead of using a single-leg hop into the boxes, we headed back to the fundamentals, jumping with 2 feet.

We learned to jump and land with both feet instead of alternatively.


Momentum in jumping consecutive boxes was also picked up and cultivated.

When we reached the last row, we had to jump, twist and land with both feet

before jumping back to the starting line.


Aesthetics (Cooking)

Learning about the food in Mexico … burritos & tacos … we decided to make our own ….

And guess how we improvised and concocted our own “tacos” ??????

with Kueh Pie Tee Shells …and these other ingredients

Balancing the bean bag at various parts of their bodies was challenging yet enjoyable!
