    MTFC USERS MANUAL

    1.0 Introduction

The AH-64 Maintenance Test Flight Calculator (MTFC) application automates thecalculations required for specific maintenance test flight procedures for the AH-64A andAH-64D. The Flight Performance Model (FPM) embedded in the MTFC application isbased on performance charts in the applicable Maintenance Test Flight (MTF) Manualand TM 1-2840-248-23.

    NOTE

FPMs support various fl ight modes, accept input parameters, checkinputs against predefined limi ts, execute calculations, generateerror/warning messages, and provide results through outputs.

Revisions to the MTFC program and this manual are anticipated in order to conform toupdates to the references used in the development of the FPM. Comments from thefield are encouraged. If you encounter problems with the program, the trouble report in

Appendix A may be completed and faxed to (256) 705-9895, or a trouble report may befilled out online at http://www.aeromech.redstone.army.mil/ . The Help/About dialogcontains a link to this website as well as a link for sending a support email.

    1.1 Warnings, Cautions, and Notes

Warnings, Cautions, and Notes are in accordance with the applicable reference manual.

    1.2 System Requirements

The MTFC application requires Windows 2000 or Windows XP, 256 KB of RAM, 30 MBof hard drive space, and 1024x768 minimum screen resolution.

    1.3 Installation Instructions
