Beginning thoughts . . .• Choose ONE place to start. Don’t feel as though you
have to do everything. Web 2.0 can be overwhelming.
• Collaborate with a colleague to share the experience.
• Elicit help from those around you – don’t be afraid to ask for help.
• Be very careful about the security and safety of your students. del.icio.us allows tags such as sex . . .
• Have fun. If it is not fun, don’t do it.

“Bringing you the strangest anecdotes, innovative technology, and most significant events of Military History.” –George Hageman
By Kathy Ishizuka -- School Library Journal, 2/1/2006Fifteen-year-old George Hageman seems like your average
teenager—a good student, who plays tennis and baseball, and enjoys hanging with his friends, playing guitar in a basement band or zoning out on Xbox.
But then again, not many other kids have produced a podcast series—on, of all subjects, military history—that has attracted 3,200 subscribers since its launch in September 2005.
