Treatment for the movie opening. EXT.Street on Middle class housing estate-Day. Elliotwearing jeans and a tucked in smart checked shirt walks to a two-story house, he knocks on the door three times with an open hand like he is patting or slapping it hard. He steps back and stands in a “am I bothered” stance. Glances at some passing teenage girls and smiles and jerks his head at them, they look disgusted and hurry on their way looking back at him as if to say “What a freak”. Sylvester, dressed in tracksuit bottoms,a hooded jacket and a t-shirt with an image of his face on it grinning, opens the door with a flourish and happy to see his friend he greets Elliotmerrily he grabs a plastic bag from behind the door and motionsoff-screen leaving the door wide open. Both start to walk down the street trying to look cool but failing badly.Both start to talk about things in heavy Dorset ascents using a lot of Chav like slang. As they turn round a corner, Sylvester pushes Elliot into a hedge, Elliot grins pulls Sylvester’s hood over his eyes forcing Sylvester to double up as Elliot starts running to avoid capture. EXT. Childplay park- Day. Sylvester is leaning against a slide with a vacant look on his face, while Elliot is sitting on a nearby kids climbing frame with his back hunched giving an Sly look off-screento group of teenagers, he say’s to Sylvester something about going to join them. Sylvester looks at Elliot and nods and pulls two cans of diet coke from a plastic bag. Sylvester puts on the ground and throws the other off-screen to Elliot.Elliot catches the coke and opens it as he slides down. And walks to over to the group opening his can as he goes, Sylvester shadowing his actions. Elliotgreets the teenagers as he approaches them.The group say hello but otherwise ignore him completely, Sylvester has been distracted by something small and shiny in the grass and is crouching next to it. The group turn to him and start shouting abuse at him. Elliot tells them to stop and one of the group push him next to Sylvester taking his phone and wallet while he is on the floor. The group run off laughing as Sylvester and Elliot are still getting up.Elliot looks at Sylvester and tells him that it is time to find the social group that they truly belong to. Title then is super imposed over the image of the two walking from the park. The title looks as if it is being pumped up by an off-screen foot pump.
