The New Look • Page posts are wider, so content is more
visible (especially pinned posts)
• Photo posts are now rectangular (versus square), and look the same on pages as they do in the newsfeed
• A list of pages that are similar to the page users are on is automatically displayed after users click “Like”
• The “Like” button is on top of the cover photo, making it slightly less visible
• Apps now live in 2 places on the page – in the “more” drop-down button and in the left-hand column

Pages are more customizable The display and order of tabs can be changed under ‘Manage Tabs’. The “about” tab cannot be moved, but the “photos” tab can be moved or removed altogether. IMPLICATION: Brands can choose to make campaign-related apps more visible during campaigns. Brands can also prioritize other sections, depending on current objectives. Sections that appear in the left-hand column can also be customized. IMPLICATION: Brands can once again choose to highlight sections depending on current objectives, such as campaign apps or house rules when contests are running.

You can keep a closer eye on competition Brands can add up to 5 competitor pages in their “Pages to Watch” section, only visible to Admins. Watching these pages will allow admins to see: • Percentage increase or decrease of
people who like the competitor page • Number of times the competitor page
posted • Amount of engagement the competitor
page received
IMPLICATION: Brands can keep a closer eye on competitors within the platform – this can be useful for competitor reporting.*
Admins receive a notification whenever their page is added to another page’s watch list. The notification does not disclose the name of the page that added them.
• Note: This information will not take media buys into account, which should be noted whenever using this data
