When you log in, this is what you will see:

Pages are located on the left side bar

News Feed: Here is where you can see what other businesses are posting

Here is where you update your Status

This box on the right holds posts that others have recently posted on your page.

HOME PAGEThis is what you will see once you select a Facebook page

To update your status, click in the type box and begin typing.

To link your status to another business, type the @ symbol then the company’s name. When their name appears in the box below, click enter.

UPDATE YOUR STATUS

To post a link, copy and paste the URL into the status box and choose a thumbnail

There is the option to choose a thumbnail that will appear with the post. Make sure to pick the one that best corresponds to your post.

POST A LINK

To post a photo or video, select Photo / Video in the Status Update box

Next select, Upload Photo / Video

Once selected, the following box will appear, select Choose File to browse your computer for the picture or video. As shown, a caption can also be written about the file.

To create an Event, add an Offer, or ask a Question, select Offer, Event+ in the Status Box

ADD EVENT/OFFER/QUESTION

When Event is selected, the following box will appear

Name the Event

Add Details

Location of Event

Date of Event

Keep the second box unselected if you would like group members to be able to post on the Event Wall

To access a full listing of your events, there will be an Event Tab on your home page

CREATE AN EVENT

When Question is selected, a Status Box will appear where you type your question

After posting your question, you must add poll options.

Fans can now cast their vote by choosing a poll option.*This is a good way to get fan/customer input about your business.

ASK A QUESTION

POST AN OFFERWhen offer is selected, the following box will appear

Select a thumbnail image for the offer Create a headline

Limit the number of offers available

Set offer expiration date

To view/edit your page insights, open your admin panel at the top of your page

This is how an Offer will appear on your Facebook page

Users select ‘Get Offer’ to receive the coupon. (For example, Buy one- Get on 50% off with this offer).

ACCESS FACEBOOK INSIGHTS

Select Show if admin panel is hidden

Once in your admin panel, click on See All

Your insights provide detail about engagement activity with your page
