The attendees will also become familiar with foundations of aptitude (intelligence) and personality traits (personality) as applied in the workplace. This training is intended to provide a solid broad foundation of psychometric assessments and its importance to an organization. TRAINER’S PROFILE PIA ZEINOUN Pia is a Psychologist at the Psychological Assessment Center at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUB-MC), the Founder of committee on “Assessments, Tests and Measurements in Psychology” at the Lebanese Psychological Association, and a Member of American Psychological Association, International Test Commission, and Fulbright Association. She is a subject matter expert in researching on personality testing in the Arab world, and adaptation/validation of structured interviews and scales relevant to Lebanon and a Nationally Certified Mental Health Counselor (NCMHC) in the USA, and licensed counselor (LCPC) in Illinois State. She has been an instructor at Notre Dame University, Lebanon for courses of Personality Psychology, Intelligence and Personality Testing, and Stress Consequences & Management for a number of years and holds a Masters in Psychology from Illinois State University, a fellowship in neuropsychology at Kennedy Krieger Institute, Maryland, and is currently a PhD Candidate at Tilburg University in the Netherlands.

MODULE’S OBJECTIVEThis two-day training is aimed at HR professionals or industrial/organizational psychologists who are part of an organizational team. MODULE’S OBJECTIVEIn many organisations, reward can represent the largest single cost item. It is not only the cost of salaries that needs to be considered but the costs of allowances, variable pay programs, benefit plans and, in many countries, the costs of tax and social security. Ensuring that you are getting the maximum return on this expenditure is a basic tenet of business.This three day module will help delegates install and maintain a reward management system that supports an organisation’s strategic objectives. Participants will learn the various steps of reward management, including the use of systematic approaches for evaluating jobs (not people), the merits of different types of grade structure, developing a compensation strategy, analysing current internal pay relationships and comparing them to the market; developing the overall compensation architecture; building a compensation strategy and launching a communication plan for ongoing implementation.This program provides the essential know-how using to analyse, design and implement pay structures. Gerdt is an HR Advisor and seasoned Trainer with Phoenix Consulting. Gerdt’s expertise goes back to international HR line management experience for more than 20 years in American high-tech companies and many years of experience in executive search, followed by HR business consulting as General Manager of Nicholson International Ltd, Germany and SME of GTZ. His experience encompasses PPP-projects and commercial and public services structuring and performance improvement programs. He is a certified Industrial Manager (CCI) and a graduated Micro Economist and MBA from the Kassel University, Germany.He combines theoretical, analytical and conceptual work of a consultant with practical experience achieving knowledge transfer results through lecturing, training and coaching individual responsible corporate managers, HR Managers, Specialists and CM teams. Gerdt looks back to a wealth of knowledge and practice, internationally gained in Europe and the Middle East. Dr. Eaton, former Managing Director of Hay Group Middle East & North Africa, is an experienced International Human Capital and Organizational Effectiveness Consultant. Mark is a seasoned expert in solution design and sustainable implementation of human resources infrastructures, job evaluation and grading arrangements and the development and implementation of remuneration strategies and structures. Mark has over 20 years of human capital management consulting experience both in Europe and across the Middle East region.He has undertaken extensive training work on work valuation and reward management in both Europe and the Middle East and is very familiar with regional compensation practices. As an Associate Director with Phoenix Consulting Middle East, Mark supports the firm in the Reward Management area and undertakes related training for Phoenix Consulting in the MENA region.
