EMPLOYEE WELFARE ASSOCIATION

SRS provides a reference for validation of the final product.

It is a prerequisite to high quality software.

It lays out functional and non-functional requirements.

It may include a set of use cases.

This document aims at defining the overall brief description about the “EMPLOYEE WELFARE ASSOCIATION”.

This project has been developed in .NET, which is one of the leading Web Scripting Languages.

This organization provides welfare facilities to their employees to keep their motivation levels high.

We are committed for overall development of the employees.

EWA is socially accountable for educational, cultural and friendly environment through sustainable initiative.

To be one of best EWA in India delivering economic, reliable and quality performance in the field of social environment for safety and society.

It is meant for the employer and employee associated with the firm.

The project has been build up in convenience with their needs and requirements.

It is not open for the guest users as only the employee associated can avail the facilities.

• The remaining system and their contents are listed below:

Section 2 is overall description that specifies the

product perspective of the Employee Welfare Association System and General Constraint, Software Specification and Technologies Used.

Section 3 shows the Functional Requirements and Non-

Functional Requirements.

This system will be explained in its context to show how the system interacts with other systems and introduce the basic functionality of it.

It will also describe what type of stakeholders that will use the system and what functionality is available for each type.

At last, the constraints and assumptions for the system will be presented.

GUI is provided for user-friendly environment.

Client Side: RAM - 256 MB Hard Disk - 4 GB Processor - 733 MHz’s

Developer Side: RAM - 1GB Hard Disk - 10 GB (free space including data size) Processor - 1-2 GHz’s (Pentium III compatible or higher)

Communication Standard:

Client on the Internet shall use HTTP/HTTPS Protocol Client on the internet shall use TCP/IP Protocol  

Exceeding the number of users will lead to server crash.

There are two modes of operations. They are as follows:

• User should have knowledge about computer and network system. • The computer should have Internet connection for the project to run.

•The system should support IIS framework to work on.

Registration Module :

Actors: Employee

Description This module help to employee to registered the membership in EWA

Pre-condition The user must be employee at the company

Input Employee Number, Password, and Personal Details

Normal Course Events 1. Users enter their employee number2. User enter their password.3. The user enter their personal details4. User click the registerd button5. Then pay the membership charge.6. System connect to database.7. Uset will be registerd.

Output User get notification message.

Login Module :

Actor Employer, Employee

Description This module helps the user to login.

Pre-Condition The user must be a member of the system

Input Employee number and password.

Normal Course Events 1. Users enter their employee number2. User enter their password.3. User click login Button4. System connect to database.5. Homepage displayed.

Alternative course 1. User enter incorrect user name or pass.2. Error message appears3. An error may occur during database

operation4. System show error message.

Output User home page will be displayed.

Password and Reminder Module :

Description Recover the password

Precondition The user must be already registered

Input Username, security question and its provided by existing user

Normal course Event To fetch the password based on the matching of provided information by user and the information present in the database.

Outpt Password

Logout Module :

Actor Employer, Employee

Description This module helps the user to logout.

Pre-Condition The user must be login to the website.

Normal Course Events 1. The website usersclick the logout button.

2. DB connection terminate3. The website user logout successfully4. The website will be directed to

homepage.

Alternative course 1. In case user accidently closed the tab then the user will be automatically logged out from his/her account but it is recommended to logout from the account using to “logout” option for security purpose.

Output Website homepage will be displayed.

Feedback Module :

Actor Employee

Description This module helps the user to give their review.

Pre-Condition The user must be a member of the system

Input Employee give their feedback yes or no.

Normal Course Events 1.User give their feedback2. click the submit button.3. connect to database and store .

Output website home page will be displayed.

Actors: Employee

Description The user must be already registered

Pre-condition The user must be employee at the company

Input Employee Number and Password,

Normal Course Events 1. Users enter their employee number2. User enter their password.3. The user select the event type and date.4. Date not available,choose another date.5. User click the booking button.6. System connect to database.7. Booking confirmation message.

Output User get notification message.
