About: The Edge Agency is a branding agency that breathes creative life into businesses through branding, design, and tactics. The Challenge: In 2017 The Edge Agency launched their social media with the desire for organic growth and engaged followers. Building brand awareness themselves, they knew that in order to help others with social media content, they had to be ahead of the curve with trends and hashtags. They knew the best way to teach people how to run a successful social media strategy was by showing them how to do it. Our Solution: Organic growth and an engaged community of followers meant consistency and strategy was key. The Edge Agency was intentional in responding to comments and direct messages to build relationships, as well as researching which posts were performing well and adjusting as necessary to achieve maximum organic engagement. They learned that their podcast, live photography and video were performing the best, so they strategically boosted specific posts directed towards their target audience. They also gained additional knowledge from continuing educational courses and adjusted their methods to coinside with the latest hashtag guidelines being recognized by Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. Their posts were scheduled one month in advance to have a well-rounded strategy while staying current and relevant due to the ever changing nature of social media. The Results: +6.33% Facebook engagement rate grew from 2.64% - 8.97% 7.67% Engagement on Instagram over a 12 month period. (1% engagement meets expecta- tions. 5% engagement is exceeds expectations. Anything above 5% far exceeds expectations. 106,000 Average Pinterest monthly viewers in December 2019. Edge started at 6900 monthly viewers.
