Dr Joseph Ajaka Discusses Ways To Rejuvenate Your Skin With PRP, Laser And Correct Skin Care

Our biggest organ is our skin and it is generally something that is over looked quite easily. Sun exposure, natural aging and hormonal changes affect the way our skin looks and its quality. Dr Ajaka discusses different treatments available to help remove sun spots and improve the quality and thickness of the skin.

PRP also known as Platelet Rich Plasma is the latest natural facial rejuvenation technique. The treatments consist of taking your own blood cells and spinning the blood in a machine called a centrifuge which separates your blood and plasma. Your plasma is then injected under the skin to rejuvenate the cells and stimulate collagen growth. It is ideal for patients with crepey thin skin that needs that extra boost. PRP can be injected to parts of the face such as under your eyes and on your body for stretch marks. It is a very natural process where your body helps your body heal itself.

Freckles, also known as pigmentation is caused by either sun damage or hormonal changes (especially in females). These spots can be treated with a laser to remove the pigment from under the surface of the skin. Each spot is different in depth and some are more stubborn to remove than others. The results are shown with two weeks and may require up to three treatments, leaving your skin clear, youthful looking and freckle free.

Another major skin problem is not knowing which skin care products right for you. Dr Joseph Ajaka feels that treating your skin with the right products will bring out the best in your skin. Cleansers, serums and moisturisers are three products ideal for your skin, they all carry out a specific role to help balance, cleanse and nourish your skin.

It is difficult to know what is the right treatment for your skin without a professional opinion. Different types of skin require different treatments and everybody has individual concerns. It is important to research treatments and seek help to see what is the best for your skin.
