Founded in 1974 and based in Dorchester, Mass., Julie’sFamily Learning Program is a non-profit organization that
educates low-income, at-risk mothers and helps thembecome healthy, self-sufficient members of their
community. Not only does Julie’s break the harmful cycleof drug and welfare dependence for these mothers, but thenonprofit also has an infant/toddler development and care
center. Julie’s focuses on female-headed families in thelocal South Boston community, especially those living in
the D Street Public Housing Project.
Scope of WorkKey audience: New and long-time donors

Help with brandingCreate a new tagline
Create a new logoCreate a media list for pre and post event coverage
General Strategy
We restructured Julie's Family Learning Program to enhance the websiteand incorporate social media elements that will reach a wider audience.
Our creative approach reinforces Julie's progressive model for lifeimprovement and simplifies the information for its audience, making it
more appealing.
Creative Strategy
We changed the color scheme of the website/brand to convey a morewelcoming, happy personality. The old color scheme seemed
arbitrary, while the new scheme will create lasting impressions. Wechose the sunflower as the new logo because we wanted to convey asense of hope, optimism, and happiness. The butterfly didn't seem to
translate well, whereas the flower hints at a "plant seeds for thefuture" vibe.
