Self-Determined Life Coaching & Healing-Youth/TAY 14-24 | 25+ After stabilizing and receiving immediately needed support andservices, participants are assigned a life coach to partner indesigning a self-determined life plan. Participants will thenreceive 1:1 coaching on average once weekly, a minimum ofonce monthly, and as needed 2-3 times weekly.Life coaching is provided to directly support individuals Everythree months YWFC does follow-up evaluation withparticipants to assess how they are doing and whether anadjustment is needed in their programming or services. The lifeplans identify goals vis-a-vis the systems they have beeninvolved in, personal healing and growth, health and socialservice needs, housing, educational and employment goals,relationship building, safety and support goals. Five Keys and in partnership with the Young Women'sFreedom Center. Is a program that provides transitionalhousing and residential communities in San Francisco andLos Angeles providing support for criminalized survivors ofdomestic violence that are being released from prison.  Thecollaborative project works to support women in theirtransition home through life coaching, support, job trainingand placement, and ongoing support. Home FreeEmergency Housing in San FranciscoThe emergencyhousing program for women, trans and gender non-conforming people was opened in May 2020 to ensure safehousing, supportive services, and connection during theCOVID crisis for survivors of violence that are beingreleased from prison and jail with nowhere to go.  Theprogram has 30 units and provides supportive housing,healing based programming through September 2020. YOUNG WOMEN'SFREEDOM CENTER

Freedom Cirlces - Youth and TAY 14-24Grounded in self-determination, positive peer relationships andrelationships with caring adults, our weekly, two-hour FreedomCircles provide healing in which those further along in their healingare often modeling the process for those who are newer.

Circles will run in 12-weeks cycles over the course of 12-18 months with afocus on systems navigation support (i.e. support with adhering toprobation or other court mandated requirements, support withrelationships with case managers, lawyers, social workers, and othersystems players, etc.), socio-emotional skills and sharing life planning.

Through these circles each young person creates a self-determination lifeplan that includes educational, employment and job training, healingsupport, health and other social services. Healing circles are facilitated bylicensed mental health workers and community healers and delve intodeeper issues of trauma, abuse, exploitation and gender-based and race-based discrimination, violence and disadvantage Tuesday & Thursdayweekly 4pm -6pm for more information contact Lucero.

The Sister WarriorsFreedom Coalition- is theexpansion of our work anda vehicle to build the powerof formerly incarceratedand system involved cis-and transgender womenand girls and GNC people.We are a statewidemovement that builds offthe momentum ofmovements to end massincarceration, state- andgender-based violence andcriminalization.

In 2019, we transformed the Billof Rights into a FreedomCharter as a compass for ourmovement to end the racial andgender apartheid of the prison,criminal legal and other publicsystems. In order to increaseleadership of core Sister WarriorFreedom Coalition members andlead organizers, YWFC will hostFreedom Academy 2-4 times peryear.  Freedom Academy is a 3-4-day intensive training academyfor members to advance theirleadership skills to lead the SisterWarrior Freedom Coalitionlegislative agenda and transformthe systems and policies thatkeep young women trapped incycles of poverty, violence, andincarceration.
