Tseung Kwan O Tunnel Bus-Bus Interchange fully opens on 1 May

NWFB & Citybus introduce multiple Bus-Bus-Interchange Concessions of up to

$24 Interchange with 7 NWFB Routes running via Kwun Tong Bypass instead

of Kwun Tong Road to save time

(21 April 2021, Hong Kong) As Tseung Kwan O Tunnel Bus-Bus Interchange (Kowloon bound)

opens on Saturday, 1 May, more than 10 routes of New World First Bus (“NWFB”) and Citybus

will add a stop there with the introduction of new Octopus Bus-Bus Interchange (“BBI”)

concessions, to facilitate customers travelling between multiple districts and Tseung Kwan O.

Customers can enjoy express bus service by interchanging with 7 NWFB routes running via Kwun

Tong Bypass instead of Kwun Tong Road, including Route 796C, 796E, 796P, 796X, 798, 798A

and 798B, which in some cases can be quicker and more convenient than taking one bus trip.

Details are as follows:

New Octopus Bus-Bus Interchange (“BBI”) Concessions

NWFB and Citybus will introduce Octopus BBI concessions for all solely-operated routes stopping

at Tseung Kwan O Tunnel Bus-Bus Interchange (Kowloon bound). Within a specified time limit,

customers may enjoy up to HK$24 interchange fare concession for the second trip.

taking NWFB Route 694 to travel between Tseung Kwan O and Hong Kong Island.

From the same day, the section fare starting point of NWFB Route 694, Citybus Route 690, 690P

and N29 at Lam Tin Polyclinic bus stop and Kai Tin Shopping Centre bus stop respectively will be

advanced to Tseung Kwan O Tunnel Bus-Bus Interchange (Kowloon bound). Customers may refer
