Aging Wisdom
My doctor asked if anyone in my family suffered from mental illness. I said, "No, we all seem to enjoy it."
My bucket list is short: Just keep breathing.
Just once, I want a username and password prompt to say, "Close enough."
I'm a multitasker. I can listen, ignore and forget all at the same time!
People who wonder if the glass is half empty or half full, miss the point. The glass is refillable.
I don't have grey hair; I have wisdom highlights.
Sometimes it takes me all day to get nothing done.
I don't trip, I do random gravity checks.
Never laugh at your spouse's choices. You are one of them.
One minute you're young and fun. The next, you're turning down the car stereo to feel cooler.
I'd grow my own food if only I could find bacon seeds.
Losing weight doesn't seem to be working for me, so from now I'm going to concentrate on getting taller.
My body is a temple; ancient and crumbling.
I came. I saw. I forgot what I was doing. Retraced my steps. Got lost on the way back. Now I have no idea what's going on. But I remembered to share these with you!

Church Council (Clark)
Greetings To All,
Fall has arrived with its entire beautiful splendor, golden Aspen tree leaves, cool
nights and warm days and gardeners gathering in their bountiful harvest. Truly our
Lord is good to us!
September marked 19 years of faithful service to the Father and St. Paul’s
Community Church that Pastor Simon has truly served. Let’s not forget his wife
Sharon and children have served right along beside him. On behalf of all of St.
Paul’s church family we sincerely thank you. May God continue to bless you and
keep you well to serve him and our church!
It looks like we will be starting the third portion of our parking lot repaving
(Special Project). Colorado Pavement Solutions will be here on October 4, 2021
for two days. We ask that you all would not enter or leave on the north driveway
during this time.
The “Texas Steakhouse” fundraiser is a success and we have an additional two more
opportunities in the month of October to add to it. I would like to especially thank
Betty Stober and Phyllis Evans for all their hard work.
The lovely ladies of the Red Hats have organized and extended to the whole church
an opportunity to attend a performance of murder and mystery at the
Adams Mystery Dinner Playhouse on October 14, 2021.
We are a very lively and energetic family here at St. Paul’s. Please contact any
member of the Council in whatever way we may serve you!
