The Group 99 supplies the combat garment to Russian special units since 2012. Most of the garments are designed and manufactured in Russia. We use the best materials and accessories from Russian and foreign manufacturers and put all garments to extended tests to ensure their reliability in the most extreme conditions. The Company employs actual and former military experts of the Russian leading special units as staff workers and advisors.

LAYER COMPATIBILITY

The tourist approach usually divides clothing into three layers: base (next-to-skin layer), midlayer (heat insulation), and shell layers (wind, cold and rain protection). The layering principle we adhere to reflects the layered garment system that has been formed in the modern combat garment. It consists of more than 20 items arranged in eight groups (layers) that can be combined with each other depending on temperatures, precipitation, and physical activities. Length, body fit, location of pockets and zippers of each item allow the item combination.

The base layer is intended to evacuate moisture from the body as the major heat losses occur upon contact of wet clothes and skin. For our base layer garment, we use a fabric made of high-quality polyester fiber. The weaving structure of such fabric allows an efficient moisture absorption and wicking.

The warm base layer garment is thicker than compared to the first layer – that is, thermal underwear. Under low and below-freezing temperatures, the second-layer items can be worn continuously regardless of physical activity type.

The softshell is one of the most versatile material used in the professional garment. It protects against wind, light precipitation, and snow and breathes well. We use an elastic fabric with wear-resistant outside and smooth inner structure (double-weave). The DWR double water-repelling treatment protects the fabric against quick wetting.

SHELL LAYER: HEAT INSULATION до -30 °С

The seventh layer is intended for heat insulation and protection against precipitation under below-freezing temperatures. It can be worn over the first five layers or their various combinations. The set consists of a hooded jacket and self-shed pants with a synthetic heat insulator.

L7The sixth layer is intended for protection against heavy precipitation and worn over the fifth layer or a combination of base layers and the third, heat-keeping midlayer. Main requirements: mechanical resistance so it is critical to use three-layer water-repellent, vapor-permeable membranes with a polyamide outside. Vapor-permeability affects the cloth wettingunder the membrane, especially during high physical activity.

The tenth layer is used in warm season when the other shell layers are no longer required. This layer is worn either over the first layer or on bare body. It is made of durable, well-breathing, and smooth fabric. Its design provides protection for elbows and knees.

BACKPACK MODULAR SYSTEM The basis of the modular system is a T10 frame that can be used to carry large goodsor in combination with 45 L and 60 L cargo bags. The frame allows comfortable carrying any goods starting from belongings, engineer ammunition, and observations means to collective weapons. Cargo bags of different sizes and accessories allow assembling an optimal configuration of the system based on the specifics of the task at hand. The system also includes small backpacks (20 L and 30 L).

LOAD SLING (LSL)

The load-carrying platform allows attaching the Т10 frame with a standard-size load up to 50 kg. In case of emergency (for example when carrying the wounded person), the frame and the load-carrying platform allow carrying load up to 90 kg.

• The load-carrying platform is attached to the frame in four points and effectively distribute the load along the entire plane of the frame and further through the belt system to hips.

Modular carry system (MCS) is an all-in-one set of equipment designed for special forces that allows quick adaptation to complete the mission keeping an optimal balance to meet the following requirements and restrictions:

Depending on the mission, the user is free to assemble the most suitable option of MCS.

The corset system allows modification of the Standard body armor into a full-feldged assault body armor. Due to a better body fit, the corset system provides efficient weight distribution.

• The corset ensures extra fragment protection thanks to the installed ballistic package.

• The package protects from fragments reaching the speed of 630 m/s.• The corset system may be installed with support guides (stops) connecting

the corset system to a modular multifunctional belt.• The stops unload the back muscles while distributing the load from the

lower back and shoulders to the hips.


MODULAR BELTMULTIFUNCTIONAL (MMB)

The belt is designed to carry pouches, holsters, and hip-worn platforms. When the corset system stops are installed, the belt distributes part of the vest weight to the hips.

• The belt can be installed with the anti-fragment package.• The built-in belt has a convenient block-and-tackle tightening.• The standard belt can be replaced with a Cobra safety belt buckle from

other manufacturers.• The belt may be used with suspenders.

Ballistic panels made of high molecular weight polyethylene or aramid materials protecting against fragments flying at speeds up to 630 m/s.

• Anatomical design of the protective elements ensures that the mobility does not interfere with the efficient ready position with weapons.

THE RIGHT WAY TO TAKE MEASUREMENTS

1. The height is measured in stocking feet, head to floor.

2. The chest is measured horizontally at underarm level through chest projecting points.

3. The waist is measured horizontally in the narrowest part of the body at umbilicus level.

4. The hip circumference is measured horizontally in exposed points of the buttock.

5. The arm length is measured from the neck shoulder point on one side through the shoulder and elbow to the wrist bend.

6. The inside-leg is measured along the internal surface of the leg, flank to floor.
