“The inspiration for the Savanna’s design came very
simply from thinking of it as if it were our own. We
wanted to create a main living space that could expand
to entertain many people while still feeling manage-
able if it were just the two of us. Tall ceilings with
plenty of glass, allowing light to fill the interior, were
