Celebration of Death Anniversary of Late Padmabhushan Khasdar
Dr. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil
On 30th Dec. 2018 Pravara Technical Education Campus, Nashik celebrated the
Second Death Anniversary of the Late Padmabhushan Khasdar Dr. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil
at SVIT Seminar Hall. The programme commenced with the welcome address by Prof.
(Dr.) K. T. V. Reddy Campus Director, PTEC, Nashik. It was followed by the lamp lighting
by all the Principals of PTEC Colleges. He addressed the gathering and enlightened the
students and staff with life and philosophy of Late Padmabhushan Khasdar Dr.
Balasaheb Vikhe Patil. He laid emphasis on values shown by our revered great social
reformer. The event concluded with National Anthem. After in-house programme,
campus cleaning activities were carried out by all faculty members and also Trees were
planted throughout the campus.
NSS Special Camp at village Deshwandi
The NSS’s Special camp of College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, Nashik
under the SPPU, Pune was conducted at village Deshwandi, Tal- Sinnar, Dist. Nashik,
from January 01, 2019 to January 07, 2019 jointly with SVIT, Nashik and S.S.K. Art and
Commerce College, Naygaon. It is an integral part of NSS activities. It provides
opportunities to our young youth for living, sharing of experience with each other and
constant interaction with community. Total 30 NSS Volunteers from third year B. Pharm
attended the camp. This was the 11th NSS Special Camp organized by the college.
The first day of the camp started with an official inauguration ceremony presided
by Hon. Shivajirao Katkade, Chairman, Dhanlakshmi Shikashn Santha; Mr. Bhagwanji
Pathave, Member of Panchayat Samiti; Mr. Sangrambhau Katkade, Mrs. Vanita Kapade,

Charushila J. Bhangale, Principal, COPC, Nashik, also were present for this ceremony.
During the camp different events were conducted including guidance to school
children about the cleanliness, importance of education for best future, Rally and skit on
different social awareness concerns like AIDS, water harvesting, save girl etc, Survey on
financial and social Conditions of personnel’s, construction of dam by traditional
method using soil for water harvesting, create awareness about environmental cleaning
among local people, Free Eye check up camp in which 145 residential were benefited,
and different expert lectures from eminent personalities from different fields. Also,
students were conducted different competitions like debate and others.
The closing ceremony of camp was presided by Prof. (Dr.) K.T.V. Reddy, Campus
Director PTEC, Nashik; Prof. Mrs. Ujjawala Katkade, Chief Guest; Mrs Vanita Kapadi,
Sarpanch, Dheshwandi Village and other respective dignitaries were present. Prof. (Dr.)
K.T.V. Reddy guided the students and gatherings. In his key note address, he
emphasized on the contribution of the youth to be more important and responsible for
the growth of the society. They praised the activities performed by the volunteers and
Programme officers. The program was successfully carried out with kind cooperation of
Grampanchayat officials of Deshwandi, Prof. V.D. Kunde, Prof K. T. Vaditake and all
teaching and non-teaching staff of College of Pharmacy, (For women), Chincholi, Nashik.

Eye Check up Camp
Pravara Technical Education Campus, Nashik organized free Eye Check up Camp
in association with Contacare Eye Hospital, Nashik on 14th January 2019. Camp was
inaugurated by the hands of Dr. K.T.V. Reddy, Campus Director, Pravara Technical
Campus, Nashik. Representative of Contacare Eye Hospital; along with Dr. Charushila J.
Bhangale, Principal of P.R.E.S.’s College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi; Dr. V. D.
Tambe, Principal of Diploma Pharmacy and Prof. Sanjeev Patil, Principal of Architecture
College were present for the same. All faculties were checked their eyes and report was
given for the further treatment by representative of Contacare Hospital.

College Social Responsibility (CSR) Activities
College social responsibility of PRES’s College of Pharmacy (For Women),
Chincholi organized a Skit on “Tobacco Mukti Abhiyaan” on the occasion of Republic
Day at Jaygaon, Sinnar on 26th January, 2019. All the villagers were asked to take pledge
of Addiction. Sarpanch Mrs Nalini Gite, Upsarpanch Suresh Gite and other respective
dignitaries of village Jaygaon were present for the activity. All village people with
different age group gathered near the school. Prof. Dr. Anagha Baviskar, Prof. Mr. Sandip
Laware and volunteers from second year B Pharm were participated in the activity. The
activity was started with welcome speech of Sarpanch Mrs Nalini Gite who gave brief
introduction about village, status of education and health condition of people in village.
Program was concluded with vote of thanks by Upsarpanch Suresh Gite. The program
was conducted under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) KTV Reddy, Campus Director of PTEC,
Nashik and Dr. Charushila Bhangale, Principal PRES’s College of Pharmacy (For
Women), Chincholi, Nashik.

Nature Visit to Bhandardara and Ratanagad on Dec. 22, 2018
NPW-2019 Throw Ball (For Women) Event
Indian Pharmaceutical Association-Nashik Local Branch of Maharashtra State
celebrated 57th National Pharmacy Week January 2019. NPW celebration was
celebrated by conducting various Pharma related competitions for students. This year
our college hosted the event of Throw Ball Competition on January 19, 2019. Around 20
Degree and Diploma Pharmacy colleges in the Nashik district are actively participated
for said events.

P.R.E.S.’s, College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, Nashik organizes Two
days Pharma Tech-Fest “Umang2k19” with many Technical and Non-technical events.
Under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) K.T.V. Reddy, Campus Director of PTEC, Nashik and Dr.
Charushila J. Bhangale organized the event. Student Council members coordinated the
event under the guidance of Prof. V. D. Kunde.

Annual Gathering Spandan-2k19
Pravara Technical Education Campus, Nashik celebrated their Annual Social
Gathering on February 23, 2019. The Campus magazine “Umang 2k19” was released
during the annual social gathering. Teaching, non-teaching & students enthusiastically
participated. Various cultural events were organized as a part of annual day celebration.
An intercollegiate science exhibition was organized in the college.

44th Sinnar Taluka-level Science Exhibition was organised by the Department of
School Education of Sinnar Panchayat Samiti and Sinnar District Math-Science Professor
Union at the Pravara Technical Education Campus, Chincholi, Nashik on December 19,
2018 to December 20, 2018.

Inaugurating the exhibition, Hon. Radhakrishna E. Vikhe Patil, Chairman, Pravara
Rural Education Society, Loni and Leader of Oppposition, Maharashtra Legislative
Assembly said that the best way to improve scientific temper among students was to
involve them in study of natural sciences. He also said that a future scientist will be
developed by such activities. The students from different schools both from primary
and secondary level participated in the exhibition with great scientific temperament
and exhibited their knowledge about science and its innovations.
They presented both still and working models depicting different themes such as
Water conservation, health and hygiene, Mathematics modelling and digital and tech
solutions. Demonstrations and explanations were given by the participants and the
spectators including teachers were greatly impressed by their performances.
The programme was executed under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) K.T.V. Reddy,
Campus Director of PTEC, Nashik and Mr. D. L. Sonawane Primary Education Officer.
70th INDIAN PHARMACEUTICAL CONGRESS, Amity University, Delhi
This year, the 70th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC) was held at Delhi, from
21st- 23rd December, 2018. Prof. S.B. Somwanshi & Prof. K. B. Kotade, Staffs of College
of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, Nashik attended IPC and also presented scientific
posters in the conference. They got the opportunity to come in contact and discuss
many aspects of their research with several eminent personalities from the pharmacy
profession. They also experienced the “Grand Scientific Expo”, which included a wide
collection of various modern scientific, analytical instruments and books of academic
importance. It was a very enriching experience for the students.

State Level Seminar on “Challenges and Opportunities in Quality By
Design” on, January 12 & 13, 2019
Pharmaceutics department of Pravara Rural Education Society’s, College of
Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, Nashik has organized a two day’s State Level
Seminar on “Challenges and Opportunities in Quality By Design” on, January 12 & 13,
2019. The seminar was sponsored by Savitrbai Phule Pune University (SPPU). The
seminar witnessed participation about 30 professionals and 140 students from various
colleges and universities. As conveyed by Dr. Charushila Bhangale, Principal, College of
Pharmacy (For Women), the quintessence of the seminar was to comprehend and
create awareness about rationalised, perfect approach while designing of formulation
or method development that will surely lead to fruitful outcome in drug development
process. The seminar was inaugurated by the esteemed Chief Guest Dr. Jaiprakash
Sangshetty, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Y.B. Chavan
College of Pharmacy, Aurangabad, followed by his deliberation on “Application of
Quality by Design in Analytical Method Development”. Dr. Gajanan Kalyankar, Associate
professor, College of Pharmacy, Bardoli, Gujrat orated on “Quality by Design Approach
to Stability Indicating HPLC Method Development”, Dr. Sandesh Lodha, Associate
professor, College of Pharmacy, Bardoli, Gujrat delivered a talk on, “Quality by design
approach for development of drug synthesis” on the first day of seminar.
On the second day of seminar, Dr. Shivanand N. Hiremath, Principal, Pravara
Rural College of Pharmacy (Diploma), Loni gave lecture on “Quality by Design in
formulation development”. Mr. Somesh Navat, Research Scientist, Glenmark
Pharmaceuticals LTD, Nashik delivered a talk on, “Quality by Design in Generic
development”, Mr. Satish Mandlik, Assistant Professor, Sinhgad College of Pharmacy,
Vadgaon, Pune discussed on “Implementation of Design of Experiments in
establishment of Design Space in QBD” and Mr. Amol Choudhari, Sr. Executive, Tech.
Transfer, Mylan Laboratories Ltd., Aurangabad discussed about “Quality by Design:
Industrial Perspective”.
Under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) K.T.V. Reddy, Campus Director of PTEC, Nashik
and Dr. Charushila J. Bhangale organized the seminar. Prof. V. A. Kashid and Dr. A.V.
Baviskar coordinated the seminar.

HR Meet-2k19
HR Meet 2k19nwas organized by Pravara Technical Education Campus, Nashik on
January 12, 2019. Around 52 HR managers of different companies were part of this
event. They were discussed different aspects regarding Industry-Academia
collaboration so that gap will be filled and students will be able to crack aptitude test
conducted by industry during campus pool. The programme was coordinated by Prof.
V. P. Aher under the guidance of Prof. (Dr) K.T.V. Reddy, Campus Director PTEC, Nashik.
44th Nashik District Level Science Exhibition
After successful organization of Taluka level science exhibition, Pravara
Technical Education Campus, Chincholi, Nashik organized 44th Nashik District Level
Science Exhibition 2018-19 was held from January 16 to18, 2019. The exhibition was
inaugurated by the Hon’ble Mrs. Shital Sangale, Zilha Parishad Adhyakshya. The
exhibition witnessed the participation of 128 teams from different taluka’s of Nashik
District. The exhibits were evaluated by a panel of distinguished judges drawn from the
field of Science, Technology and also from the Industry.
In this exhibition, the participating teams shared their creative ideas and
solution to everyday challenges through their innovative working/non-working models,
exhibits, projects and presentations supported by reports, display and research
findings. It was heartening to notice that the students had been inspired to
conceptualize and initiate their personal scientific journey through self-motivation and
with a concern for sustainability and inclusivity.

Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp
Two days “Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp” was organized by Pravara Rural
Education Society’s, College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, Nashik in association
with Udyogwardhini, Nashik on 28th -29th January 2019. The main objective of this
Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (EAC) is to create awareness among students of
Engineering and Science courses about various facets of entrepreneurship as an
alternative career option. The idea of organizing this workshop is to inculcate the
fundamentals, key concepts of Entrepreneurship in the Science and Technology among
students. The Three day camp concluded with a valedictory session and a humble vote
of thanks. The programme was coordinated by Dr. R. T. Dolas.

Live streaming of Hon’ble Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s Pariksha Pe Charcha
PRES’s, College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, Nashik organized Live
Telecast on “Pariksha Pe Charcha 2.0” of the Prime Minister address to the students of
all educational Institutions in India on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. First year students
and Faculty witnessed the live streaming of Hon’ble Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s address.
Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi interacted with students examination-related
concerns in person at New Delhi’s Talkatora Stadium, where around 2000 school
students from all over the India and abroad were present.
Orientation Programme on Medical Coding and Soft Skill Development on
Campus to Corporate” in association with WNS, Nashik on 30th January 2019
National Level Seminar cum Poster Presentation Competition
Pharmaceutical Chemistry department of Pravara Rural Education Society’s,
College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, Nashik has organized a two day’s National
Level Seminar cum poster presentation on “Current Topics in Computer Aided Drug
Design” on, January 31 & Feb 1, 2019. The seminar was sponsored by Savitribai Phule
PRAVARA COPC, e-BULLETIN

Pune University (SPPU). The seminar witnessed participation about 30 professionals
and 100 students from various colleges and universities from all over the India.
A poster presentation competition on the above theme was also organized on
second day of seminar.
Under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) K.T.V. Reddy, Campus Director of PTEC, Nashik and
Dr. Charushila J. Bhangale organized the seminar. Prof. K. B. Dhamak coordinated the

Students Development and Welfare Programme
Student Development and welfare section is committed to provide programs and
opportunities that support students in achieving their overall development. Considering
various carrier options available to the students and different inputs required to be
given to them along with academic program a “Students Development Plan” has been
developed. This strategic Plan has developmental and sequential programs/activities to
support progressive development of students. Various personal and professional skill
development programs viz. Communication and Soft Skill programs, Technical Skill
enhancement programs, Personal Development Programs, Entrepreneurship
Development Activities, Disaster Management, Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyan and Preparation
courses for competitive Examinations are made available on campus through various
professional agencies. The said programmes were coordinated by Prof. V. M. Gaware.

Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences by Shri J.J.T.
University, Rajasthan for his research work Entitled
““Development and evaluation of novel polyherbal vesicular
drug delivery system of Sesamum Indicum L””. He carried out
