Kunsten at holde firmware hemmelig kan ikke længere begrænses til at slå JTAG fra og Flash readout protection til. Fysiske angreb der omgår disse mekanismer er ikke længere forbeholdt stats-hackere - værktøjerne kan ligefrem købes på en SU indkomst. Kryptering er en del af løsningen, men det medfører andre udfordringer, som kræver at sikkerheden er tænkt ind fra start. Med udgangspunkt i et konkret industrielt IoT produkt, fortæller Mikael hvordan Crypteras 30 års erfaring med at udvikle og producere sikre apparater har hjulpet en anden dansk virksomhed med at holde kopisterne fra døren.

From its inception, C++ has evolved towards a set of ideals for elegant and efficient code, including complete ty-pe-and-resource safety, equal support for built-in and user-defined types, and direct manipulation of hardware and system resources. Here, I will articulate the fundamental ideals of C++, illustrate how they show up in code, and comment on the improve-ments offered by ISO standard C++20.Finally, I will describe the C++ Core Guidelines designed to guide developers to use a modern and effective style of C++, rather than more complex older styles, and to enable enforcement of those safe and efficient uses.

With the huge success of artificial intelligence based on deep neural networks, we need to understand when this type of AI can be used for solving real world problems and when it is necessary to enhance - or even not to use - deep learning.In this talk Peter Christian Damm, will explain why High-risk AI systems must be designed in a way that ensures that their operation is sufficiently transparent, to enable users to interpret the system’s output and use it appropriately to avoid unethical predictions or recommendations based on unwanted human bias and other pitfalls. The talk will also reflect on the upcoming EU regulation and how more trustworthy AI can be achieved by utilizing the newest research and related explainable AI technologies.

Whereas many of these are driven by achievements in technology and process improvements, fewer takes the aspects of human nature into consideration.In the market we see a growing number of dogmatic frameworks and idealised prescriptions that promise to help you succeed with your transformation, but they often come short because organisations are intensely political places where the members are driven by own intent and ambitions.The presenter claim that successful transformations must have starting point in the organisational culture and take the dynamics of human interactions into consideration. You must learn that you cannot control a transformation, but you can influence your organisation and try shaping its culture. With the starting point in complex responsive processes, the audience will be introduced to several aspects of these matters - hopefully with the possibility of bringing great insights to the home organisation.

As many of you know, I have pioneered embedded software development with Keil C51, C166, MDK, and CMSIS. During my talk I will give you some background on this important milestones. Today most embedded applications are still created on desktop computers. This has many reasons but is primarily caused by the validation process that relies heavily on target hardware. For other applications Cloud Computing is well established. During this talk you will learn how Cloud based tools can help to improve the development flow for embedded and IoT endnotes. It starts during product evalua-tion, includes model or simulation based validation with CI flows, model optimization for machine learning, up to device provisioning for deployment.

Ingen robotter uden elektronik og ingen elektronikproduktion uden robotter. Hør hvordan robotterne udvikler løbende med avanceret elektronik og se eksempler på robotter der hjælper til i produktionen af bl.a. elektronik. Robotterne har løbende fået bedre syn og nu får de også følesans, så de bedre kan lokalisere, gribe og placere emner, som de skal håndtere. Men sanserne benyttes også til at øge sikkerheden for deres omgivelser, så de ikke slår så meget i stykker og kan undgå at skade mennesker i deres omgivelser. Alt sammen pga den moderne elektronisk, der filtrerer og behandler data fra de mange sensorer. Softwareudviklingen gør at robotterne samtidig bliver mere fleksible, så de bliver nemmere at programmere og anvende. Derfor finder de indpas i flere og flere produktioner - og i elektronikindustrien, hvor de stille og roligt overtager de opgaver der tidligere har været tilegnet mennesker.

However, massive adoption of such solutions has been hindered by the high power consumption and associated complexity of mostly current solutions. This presentation will show how Semtech is addressing such limitations through a continuous improvement of its LoRa® portfolio via low power, full edge-to-Cloud solutions and expanding simple long range and robust wireless connectivity into the 2.4GHz ISM band. Carlo Tinella is marketing product manager of LoRa®for Europe in Semtech’s Wireless and Sensing Products Group. Internet of Things (IoT) has created diverse new services and applications for different verticals, whereas it has also imposed many critical technical challenges. The ever-increasing, massive IoT data start to stress the communication and cloud storage infrastructure, while the cost to extract the values and knowledge from the vast amount of data is not trivial. Therefore, IoT ecosystem needs novel, sustainable solutions for sensor data acquisition, transmission, computing and storage. Conventionally, communication and computing are two theoretical disciplines that have developed indepen-dently with their own optimization goals. For example, to minimize the transmission and storage cost, data compression is an effective approach, while frequent data random access and data analytics prefer to operate on uncompressed data. To provide more efficient solutions, research questions going beyond the current state of the art need to be answered. Can we randomly access compressed data? Can data analytics be performed on compressed data? The answers are yes. Det er sket i et samar-bejde mellem Teknologisk Institut, TDC NET og Ericsson, og det kan åbne for nye brugsmuligheder for robotterne.Robotteknologi bliver mere og mere avanceret, og den ses flere steder - både i danskernes hjem, men i endnu højere grad ude i produktionshallerne, hvor robotterne i stigende grad arbejder side om side med danskerne.Men hvis mobile robotter - som den mere terrængående Spot, der er udviklet af Boston Dynamics - i fremtiden skal kun-ne aflaste eksempelvis redningsmandskab, budbringere og sikkerhedspersonale, kræver det endnu mere båndbredde.I dag kan Spot nemlig primært anvendes indendørs, da den skal kunne tilgå et stabilt netværk.
