Goals

● Blender specific concepts– Create realistic materials using nodes with blender and cycles
Material = Map 1 + Map 2 + Map 3...
● Types of Maps:– Diffuse– Normal / Bump (usually BW)– Specularity (glossiness)– Occlusion (fake crevices)– Displacement (roughness)
● Two paradigms
– Maps = Layer of information
– Maps are a particular case of nodes
