Youth in Indonesia
• “Youth” is best understood as a period of transition from the dependence of childhood to adulthood’s independence and awareness of our interdependence as members of a community.
• The UN, for statistical consistency across regions, defines ‘youth’, as those persons between the ages of 15 and 24 years
• Indonesia Population: 237,5 million people (The Central Statistics Agency/BPS)
• 18% is teenager: 14-24 years

• Indonesia's fourth largest Facebook users after the USA, Brazil and India: 69 million active users
• Indonesia’s the fifth largest Twitter users after USA, Brazil, Japan and UK: 5,6 active users

• Indonesia Climate Change Education Forum and Expo (since 2011)
Youth for Climate Camp
• Since 2011
• The number of participant increased year by year
2011: 200 applicants
2014: 1000 applicants
• Participants come from various universities in Indonesia
2014: 21 provinces, 108 universities
• Gender balance
• 5 religions in Indonesia
• Different themes every years
• Venue: close to nature (Depok, Bogor West Java)
• After the camp, the participant will do some activities to the society
• We do not have enough resources to accommodate all of the applicants for the Youth for Climate Camp
• In 2014, there are 1000 applicants, unfortunately we only can accommodate 200 persons.
What we gonna do in the future?
• Indonesia
We already have 10 branch of Youth for Climate Camp in Indonesia (Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java, Kalimantan, Sumatera, Bali, East Java, Lampung, South Sulawesi)
• Youth for Climate Camp in ASEAN region
• International Potential Colaboration
