Butler Polytechnic is a Diploma Engineering College which envisionsdeveloping competent and committed engineers driven by values and aims to take the corporate stronghold by zeal and passion.During the last eight years of existence in the realm of technical education, it has produced over 1000 engineers of high caliber and values, and have been placed in reputed degree colleges for further studies in India.

As an AICTE-recognized Institution Butler Polytechnic is affiliated to theGujarat Technological University,Gujarat, and offers Diploma in EngineeringCourses in Civil,Mechanical, Architectural and Electrical Branches fromthe year 2006-2007.It is run by the Gujarat Regional Conference Methodist-Church in India.The institute is spread over 19.62 acres with separate building units. In addition to the prescribed syllabi, we ensuresthat the students go out of the portals of the technical education with a few value-added courses up their sleeve, to face this competitive world with passion, knowledge and zest.

Personality Development, Spoken English Courses, Group Discussion,Educational and Industrial visits, among others, are some of theteaching methodologies in the repertoire of value-added courses. It has Digital Voluminous Library Management System Software with wellstockedlibrary containing about 5000 books and subscribes to over 12 journals. The library also has computers to study online international journals relatingto all fields of engineering. This unique facility helps the faculty and student’s access national as well as international research outputsand knowledge.It has a good mix of qualified faculties coming both fromindustry and academics. In addition to the core faculty team, it also has a panel of industry experts coming and teaching specific modules of certainelective courses.

The idea is to give a strong theoretical and practical orientation to our students so that they will become market ready the moment they pass out from here. It also arranges a series of Executive Interaction Programme with CEOs and functional heads from the corporate sector.

It is the dictum of 'Infinite Learning' that guides every single activityat BP – be it learning at classes or doing projects at corporate. InfiniteLearning to us means that there is this limitless expanse of knowledgeand experience that students must strive to acquire. This will make themsufficiently equipped to take on the corporate territory with confidence.

The Diploma Course imparted by us has its curriculum specially designed by GTU to train for a basic understanding to the studentswith reference to working of industries through the process of training.We integrate seminars and workshops with one to one counselingfor a comprehensive, critical evaluation of each individual’scareer goals. We also offer Mock interview and Resume reviews, conducted by experts, which provide students with valuable feedback.

INR & U.S. dollars are being invested by Indian entrepreneurs and

through huge FDI inflow. Good law & order situation, respect for

entrepreneurial spirit, and Gujarati’s love for fun-filled life has brought

the state to the iconic level of Golden State of India (Swarnim Gujarat).

Big strides in infrastructural development along with high levels of

employment in manufacturing sector is giving rise in demands for

skilled manpower for Industries & Service sector, which is to be

provided by Educational Institutes & Universities, a sector which is

rapidly growing in the state.

The Engineering College is housed in four buildings on campus. Designed for student interaction and social events, laboratories with the latest equipment and computer resources, and project rooms. Administrative offices and several classrooms are located on the Engineering Building. Classes serving the Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering and Architectural Assistantship Department are located in the main building. In all its engineering programs, Butler recognizes the valid place of experimental and research laboratoriesin the learning experience. Laboratories are planned to provide the strongest part for technical knowledge and skills by personal contact between students and faculty members consistent with enrollment.
