Examination from AICTE ApprovedInstitution with at least 45% marks & 40% for reserve category in appropriate branchof Engg./Technology, OR passed 12th standard with mathematics & B.Sc. degreefrom Rcog. Eligibility for Lateral Entry to 2nd Year Diploma

The students who have passed 12th Science with Vocational/Technical or Xth + (2 yearsITI) with appropriate specialisation.

College has been established in 21st Century at the Industrial Area, Gaya onBodhgaya Road. It is a nascent Institute, providing technical education of Degreestandard but aspires to develop as a model institute of repute under the guidance ofexperienced academicians & highly skilled professors. The institute has been approvedby All India Council of Technical Education (Govt. of India, Dept. of HRD) andRecognized by Aryabhatta Knowledge University and Govt. of Bihar, Department ofScience & Technology,Patna,Bihar.

PREFACE

VISIONTo develop and promote a scientific temper and to train a person in practical science& technology to make him better suited to oriented environment to create willingness& a capacity to work with one's hand which would promote dignity of labour and asprit of self - confidance.

To provide the nation & state of Bihar with a new generation of skilled technocrats tomeet the challenges of 21st century who can serve the nation & state with their advanceknowledge.

INFRA STRUCTURE

The Institution is running in well furnished building of architectural splendour having allrequisite amenities with well equipped Library, Laboratories, Computer Centre, DigitalLanguage Lab, Workshop, Classrooms, Seminar halls, Drawing hall and Conferenceroom etc.

LIBRARY

The Institute has well equipped text and reference books. A large number of journals andperiodicals are subscribed too. We have procured video cassettes, audio cassettes &CDs of different subjects to provide opportunity to learn themselves.

MISSION

The Library follow "ON DEMAND BOOK ISSUE SYSTEM" and remainsopen from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Two books can be issuedat a time for a period of ONE week. These books can be renewed if they are not indemand. Late fee will be charged with Rs. 1/- (Rs. One) per day. The user should replacethe lost book or has to pay twice the price of the book.

There is no minimum or maximum limit of age.

HOW TO APPLYProspectus and Application form for admission test will be available on cash payment

of Rs 250/- from college office Industrial Area, Gaya or our City office - 83, Ashok Nagar,Gaya or by post on payment of Rs. 350/- through duly crossed Demand Draft.

It is also available on our college website.

NOTE: Read the instructions carefully before filling up your application form.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMThe application form must be enclosed along with the following :-

* Application obtained from college counter or by post filled in with the requisiteInformation along with DD of Rs. 550/- (Rupees Five Hundred Fifty Only) infavour of "Buddha Institute of Technology" payable at Gaya must besubmitted to City office on or before last date of submission.

* The candidate who have downloaded the application form the college website.

They must submit application form duly filled by own handwriting along withDD for Rs. 750/- in favour of "Buddha Institute of Technology", payable atGaya on or before last date of submission of application.

* Instead of DD you can pay Application Fee in cash also at City office counter.

All the payment should be made in favour of Buddha Institute of Technologypayable at Gaya.

AGE

The duration of entrance test shall be for two hours comprising of the subject Physics,Chemistry, Mathematics & English.

ENTRANCE TEST

Students will get admission on the basis of their performance in entrance test, groupdiscussion & personal interview or through the Bihar Combined Entrance CompetitiveExamination.

50% selection for admission will be made by the management through proper Entrance testand 50% selection will be done through the BCECEB, Patna (Bihar).After written Examination, selected candidates will be called for general Counsellingand Interview. Students should bring all the original documents for verification along with themat the time of interview.

Final selection will be done on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidate inwritten test as well as in interview.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

CERTIFICATE VERIFICATION FOR ADMISSION

i) Candidates will have to produce all original Marks-Sheets, Certificate and testimonialsat the time of counselling / interview for admission.

ii) Admission of any candidate is provisional and may be cancelled if any discrepancyis detected or the candidate fail to comply with the rules & regulations and otherconditions as laid down by the College.

iii) Admission even after confirmation may be cancelled in case the students fail to attend80% classes & don't show satisfactory progress in their review monthly studies.

Last date for submission will be notified on college notice board or through dailynews paper at appropriate time.

* Self attested photocopy of Educational Certificate,Marks Sheet, PassingCertificate,S.L.C/C.L.C. & Caste / Category certificate.

* Self attested photocopy of date of birth certificate.

* Photocopy of Character Certificate from the head of the School/College last

attended.

* Four copies of passport size colour photographs.

* Two self addressed duly stamped (worth Rs. 30/ each) envelopes of size

30cm x 25cm.

If required, students can take INTEREST FREE EDUCATION LOAN from any commercialbank with the help of institution.

SCHOLARSHIP

Students who will get 75% in their entrance test will be eligile to get Merit Scholarship as pernorms.

GENERAL RULES

TEST & EXAMINATION :-

Each Student shall take the respective examination conducted by the College/Department of Science & Technology, Government of Bihar as per the following rules.

i) Course of Study :- Each student shall attend and complete the required courseincluding Theory and Practical as prescribed by Aryabhatta Knowledge University/SBTE, Patna, Bihar

iv) In case a candidate fails to report on the due date with the required documents andfee for admission, he/she will forfeit his/her claim for admission and the seat so rendervacant will be allotted to other candidate.

v) Rule of eligibility are followed strictly. The College reserves the right to refuseadmission to any candidate without assigning any reason.

ii) Attendance :- At the end of the academic year the student who fails to secure 80%of attendance in each subject (Theory and Practical separately) will not beallowed to appear at the annual examination conducted by the authorities.

DISCIPLINE

All the students who have taken admission in the College will be under the completedisciplinary control of the college administration or any other officer appointed by the College forthe same. Students must behave in accordance with disciplinary rules of the College as formedand notified by the principal from time to time.
