1. Demonstrate understanding of fundamental concepts, principles, results, skills and techniques of reasoning in various branches of mathematics;

2. Use mathematical knowledge to solve problems in diverse situations;3. Implement the learning theories and teaching skills to guide learners to learn

mathematics;4. Mediate mathematical knowledge for students’ learning in various learning and

teaching environments;5. Execute new technology for learning and teaching mathematics in secondary

schools; and6. Demonstrate competence in coordinating STEM education in secondary schools.

Note:(1) Applicants who obtain Level 5 or above in Mathematics Compulsory Part but do not take Module 1 (M1) or Module 2 (M2) of Mathematics Extended Part will be considered for admission on an individual basis. Upon admission, applicants who do not sit for M1/M2 are required to take and pass the Course "Calculus" during the study period of the programme in order to meet the graduation requirements.
