KOGER LOOKING FOR THE ELUSIVE FIRST WIN:Sophomore left-handed starting pitcher Daniel Koger is still in search of his irst win of the season and is the only weekend starter yet to record one for Auburn ... The Friday night starter all four weekends, Koger has left three games with the lead but has yet to earn a win, though Auburn is 2-2 in his four starts and is averaging 5.8 runs per game in support of him ... Koger’s last regular-season win was on April 28, 2012 against Tennessee, a span of seven regular-season starts.

O’NEAL IS PERFECT AT 4-0:Junior left-handed pitcher Michael O’Neal is in a class of his own in Auburn history ... Standing at 4-0, he is the irst irst-year pitcher going back to 1983 to have won each of

his irst four starts ... He is currently 11th in the SEC with a 1.40 ERA and his four wins are tied for second in the SEC ... In 25 2/3 innings, he has allowed just two extra-base hits and is holding opponents to a .204 batting average ... The last player to earn the win in his irst four appearances was Jon Luke Jacobs in 2012 while the last time a player in his irst year at Auburn won his irst four decisions was in 2010 when both Cole Nelson and Slade Smith did it.

KENDALL MAKES ‘13 DEBUT:Junior left-handed pitcher Will Kendall made his 2013 de-but on Tuesday at Kennesaw State after missing the irst 15 games following Tommy John surgery ... In his debut, he allowed one hit and struck out two in a scoreless in-ning (23 pitches) ... Appearing in nine games last season (six starts), he was 4-0 with a 1.88 ERA before injuring his pitching arm on April 7 in a start at Alabama ... At the time of his injury, his 1.88 ERA was fourth in the SEC.

EBERT’S 13-GAME HITTING STREAK ENDS:Jordan Ebert had his season-best 13-game hitting streak end on Tuesday night at Kennesaw State with an 0-for-3 showing at the plate ... The freshman from Foley, Ala., went 19-for-47 (.404) during the streak and of his 19 hits, 17 went for singles along with a double and a home run ... He scored nine runs and drove in six RBI all while hitting in the nine hole in the lineup ... His 13-game hitting streak was the longest by an Auburn freshman since Sean Gam-ble hit in 13 straight games as a freshman in 2002 ... He did reach base on a walk to extend his consecutive games reaching base safely to 14.

KENDRICK TAKING CHARGE:Junior pitcher Conner Kendrick threw six innings of shut-

out baseball at the Capital City Classic to earn the game’s MVP as Auburn won the event for the ifth straight year ... On the season the lefty is 1-0 with two saves and a perfect 0.00 ERA, having tossed 16 1/3 innings ... He has allowed just nine base runners (four hits, ive walks) and is holding teams to a .077 batting average, best in the SEC ... Of those four hits, three have come to the irst hitter he has faced out of the bullpen and he has never allowed two hits in a game ... He also has a team-high 22 strike outs.

EVERYDAY DAMEK:Junior third baseman Damek Tomscha has reached base safely in every game this season, best on the team, and has a .420 on base percentage, hitting .245 and drawing 12 walks ... He has also been bit by a pitch four times while he has struck out just seven times in 53 at bats.
