En 1990, deux amis Marseillais, passionnés par la décoration et le design décident de revisiter une vieille tradition : l’emblématique cube du savon de Marseille. Conscients de la place qu’il occupe dans le patrimoine culturel et industriel en Provence, ils décident de le réinterpréter de manière moderne et contemporaine.Le savon de Marseille, qui fait la renommée et la fierté de sa ville depuis le XVIIème siècle, est un produit naturel fabriqué à partir d’huiles végétales. C’est cette exceptionnelle pureté qui lui confère ses vertus hypoallergéniques. C’est sur cette icône qu’ils construisent leur entreprise en s’attachant à ses valeurs d’authenticité, de simplicité, d’efficacité et de qualité.En 1999, La Compagnie de Provence innove en étant la première à proposer une version liquide inédite du savon de Marseille. Fabriqué à l’ancienne en chaudron à partir d’huiles végétales comme son ancêtre solide, il est présenté dans un flacon pompe en verre aux codes graphiques marqués et épurés. In 1990, two friends from Marseille, passionate about decoration and design decided to revisit an old tradition: the emblematic cube of Marseille soap. Aware of the place it occupies in the cultural and industrial heritage in Provence, they decided to reinterpret it in a modern and contemporary way.Marseille soap, which has made the fame and pride of its city since the XVIIth century, is a natural product made from vegetable oils. It is this exceptional purity that gives it its hypoallergenic properties.It is on this icon that they build their business by focusing on its values of authenticity, simplicity, efficiency and quality.In 1999, La Compagnie de Provence innovated by being the first to propose a new liquid version of Marseille soap. Made the traditional way in a cauldron from vegetable oils as its solid ancestor, it is presented in a glass pump bottle with marked and refined graphic codes. This original invention gives the brand an international stature and reinforces its image of modernity that it has been cultivating ever since.In 2013, the company is backed up by an Italian dermatological group to accelerate its development and meet the needs of consumers in terms of quality, innovation and cosmeticity.In 2016, La Compagnie de Provence celebrated its 25th anniversary with its Limited Edition developed with the designer Stephan Muntaner from Marseille.La Compagnie de Provence wanted to keep a human scale in order to remain as close as possible to its customers’ expectations. La Provence, source d’inspiration depuis toujours pour notre Compagnie. Celle-ci regorge de ressources et de matières premières d’une qualité rare. C’est avec la plus grande exigence et une volonté de protection de notre patrimoine que nous avons scellé des partenariats avec certains producteurs locaux Provençaux. Plus que de simples relations commerciales, ce sont des rencontres qui à chaque fois renforcent notre humilité et notre amour de la terre. Cela garantit également à nos consommateurs une authenticité, une traçabilité et une certaine exclusivité.

La Compagnie de Provence innove au travers du lancement de la nouvelle collection Extra Pur en ajoutant un trio d’huiles végétales dans tous ses produits* : Huile d’Amande Douce, Huile d’Olive et Huile de pépins de raisin**. Ces actifs naturels dont les vertus et l’efficacité sont reconnues dans l’univers de la cosmétique et ailleurs, apportent par leur origine une véritable différence à nos formules.

HUILE D’AMANDE DOUCE Nos amandes ont été sourcées en Provence sur le Plateau de Valensole. Depuis plus d’un siècle et demi, la famille Jaubert s’emploie à entretenir un verger de plus de 15 000 amandiers, de variété Lauranne et Ferragnès. L’huile est extraite par pression à froid et ensuite filtrée afin d’obtenir une huile de la meilleure qualité possible. Riche en acides gras, l’huile d’amande douce est hydratante et nourrissante. Egalement riche en vitamines A et E, elle est recommandée pour les peaux sèches et contribue à adoucir la peau.

HUILE D’OLIVE L’huile d’olive utilisée dans nos produits a été sourcée à Lançon-Provence dans une oliveraie de près de 37 hectares chez un des plus grands producteurs d’huile d’olive en France, Château Virant. Cette huile est extraite des olives typiquement provençales aux noms d’Aglandau, Salonenque, Verdale des Bouches-du-Rhône et Picholine dont la récolte a lieu chaque année entre le mois d’octobre et le mois de décembre. Riche en polyphénols antioxydants, en acides gras et en vitamine E, l’huile d’olive est hautement protectrice, nourrissante et adoucissante.

HUILE DE PÉPINS DE RAISINRiche en polyphénols et flavonoïdes, de puissants antioxydants, l’huile de pépins de raisin contribue à protéger la peau des radicaux libres et du vieillissement cutané prématuré. Sa composition élevée en omega-6 lui confère des propriétés hydratantes et restructurantes.

The region is full of resources and raw materials of a rare quality.It is with the greatest requirement and a desire to protect our heritage that we have sealed partnerships with some local Provencal producers. More than mere commercial relations, these are encounters that each time strengthen our humility and our love of the land. This also guarantees our consumers an authenticity, traceability and a certain exclusivity.

La Compagnie de Provence innovates through the launch of the new Extra Pur collection by adding a trio of vegetable oils in all of its products*: Sweet Almond Oil, Olive Oil and Grape Seed Oil **. These natural ingredients of which virtues and efficacy are recognized in the universe of cosmetics and elsewhere, bring by their origin a real difference to our formulas.

SWEET ALMOND OILOur almonds were sourced in Provence on the Plateau de Valensole. For more than a century and a half, the Jaubert family has been working to maintain an orchard of more than 15,000 almond trees, of the Lauranne and Ferragnès varieties. The oil is extracted by cold pressure and then filtered in order to obtain an oil of the best quality possible. Rich in fatty acids, sweet almond oil is moisturizing and nourishing. Also rich in vitamins A and E, it is recommended for dry skin and helps to soften the skin.

OLIVE OIL The olive oil used in our products was sourced at Lançon-Provence in an olive grove of nearly 37 hectares in one of the largest producers of olive oil in France, Château Virant. This oil is extracted from the typically Provencal olives by the names of Aglandau, Salonenque, Verdale from the Bouches-du-Rhône and Picholine, harvested every year between October and December. Rich in antioxidant polyphenols, fatty acids and vitamin E, olive oil is highly protective, nourishing and softening.

GRAPE SEED OILRich in polyphenols and flavonoids, powerful antioxidants, grape seed oil helps protect the skin from free radicals and premature skin aging. Its high composition in omega-6 gives it moisturizing and restructuring properties.
