– Rain garden and cisterns keep water out of combined sewer system
• Collected runoff used for site irrigation

Funding and Assistance Provided By:
Extensive rubble from former demolished buildings.
Rain garden under construction, with view of control structure.
The rain garden is lined to prevent infiltration into former industrial land. New topsoil caps the site.
Reinforced Turf ADA-accessible walkway to stage (under construction).
Community volunteers help with sod installation.

The rain garden collects runoff from the park and an adjacent roadway.
Pump in cistern to allow site irrigation. Solar power will be considered in the future.
