(2) Education Director for Treatment and Prevention Services at the Osborne Association in the El

Rio program in the Bronx, NY. Appointed January, 2003. (Dr. Kimora was promoted to Senior

Educational Facilitator in May, 2007). Dr. Kimora was promoted to Education Director for Treatment

and Prevention Services in July, 2011. Dr. Kimora teaches 8 cognitive skills groups twice a week to

parolees and probationers. As of September, 2006, she was also appointed to teach misdemeanor

clients as part of a new therapeutic program at El Rio. As of September, 2007, Dr. Kimora was

promoted to Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Evaluator.

Supervisor is Mr. Michael Cannaday, The Osborne Association, 809 Westchester Avenue, Bronx, NY

10455. Dr. Kimora was hired by Elizabeth Gaynes, Executive Director/CEO of the Osborne

Association in 2003. Dr. Kimora received CERTIFICATION in Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) on

June 1, 2012. Since July, 2012, Dr. Kimora has been on the research team and the mentor for the

Rikers Island Jail (ABLE) grant from Mayor Bloomberg. Her title was Assessment Officer.This grant

was from 2012-2015. This was a $10 million social impact bond, which Dr. Kimora endorsed. She

oversaw 23 facilitators of Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) at Rikers Island.

(3) Adjunct FULL Professor, Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) since fall, 2016.

Professor Kimora has taught at BMCC since fall, 2014. Program Coordinator is Professor Michelle

A. Ronda of the Criminal Justice Program in Social Sciences, Human Services and Criminal Justice

Department at BMCC. Professor Kimora has taught the following courses: 1) CRJ 101: Introduction

to Criminal Justice; 2) CRJ 102: Criminology; 3) CRJ 202: Corrections; and 4) CRJ 200:

Constitutional Law.

(4) Senior Educational Facilitator of “A Framework for Breaking Barriers”, a cognitive skills program

written by Gordon Graham, at Sing Sing Prison, Ossining, NY and other prisons, per discretion of the

Osborne Association. Kimora is licensed by Gordon Graham to teach “Breaking Barriers” and “Seeds

of Success”. Appointed August, 2004. Supervisor from 2004-2008 was Tina Reynolds, The Osborne

(5) Prison Reformer/Researcher. Main areas of research: Psychopathy and Cognitive skills education.

Currently, Dr. Kimora is heading a research team reviewing “Breaking Barriers”, a cognitive skills

education program for inmates in the United States. As a prison reformer, she is on the Board of

Directors of Going in by Going Out (GOGI), an educational program for incarcerated men and

women in California and Utah. Contact Coach Mara Leigh Taylor, the Director of GOGI, at 1-310-

800-7084 (cell). Kimora is also on the Board of Directors of Reality House, Inc., a non-profit

advocacy organization that aids addicts and war veterans.

(6) Head Researcher, Danbury Prison Project in Danbury, CT: “Connecting through Literacy:

Incarcerated Parents, their Children, and Caregivers”. Funded by United States Department of Justice

and Reading is Fundamental (RIF). President Travis of John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the

College’s Criminal Justice Research Evaluation Center conceived the literacy project. Research

continues once funding from the Second Chance Act is confirmed. As of fall, 2011, project had been

stalled due to lack of funding.

(7) Adjunct Full Professor, University of Wisconsin-Platteville (Desire2Learn in Criminal Justice

Department since spring 2017). Professor Kimora has taught CRIMLJUS 3900-Research Methods in

Criminal Justice ONLINE.

A. SUMMARY STATEMENT OF ASSIGNMENT AT CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY (July, 1998-

July, 2002)

Dr. Kimora was Director of the Master of Arts in Organizational Management Concordia School of

Accelerated Learning (CSAL) program. She has taught in the program since 1990. Kimora has taught

the following courses in the Master of Arts in Organizational Management: Management Models

and Systems: Foundations Course; Management and Leadership; Productivity and Quality;

Managerial Research Methods and Design, Managing in an Information Age, Organizational Theory

and Behavior, and Synthesis Seminar. She has taught the following undergraduate courses in the

Organizational Management and Communication Major: Dynamics of Group and Organizational

Behavior; Effective Interpersonal Communication; Institutional Change and Corporate Environment;

Multicultural Dimensions; Interpersonal Relations; Managerial Communication; Statistical Methods

and Research; Personal Resources: Assessment and Application; Systems Management; Principles of

Management and Supervision; Fundamentals of Marketing; and Philosophy of Values and Ethics.

Kimora has taught the following undergraduate courses in the Marketing Management Major:

Development Projects I and II. In addition to teaching assignments, Kimora has aided in curriculum

writing and systems development. Presently, she is advising graduate students on their Synthesis

Activity in Organizational Management. She is also advising fifteen students in the Information

Technology Management (ITM) major. Dr. Kimora is author of all curricula for the proposed

Criminal Justice Major. The Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice has passed the

Faculty Senate at Concordia University as of this writing. The Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice

was instigated on line in April 2000. The Master of Arts in Criminal Justice was approved by the

Board of Regents of Concordia University, St. Paul on January 5, 2002. Kimora supervised the

writing of the curriculum. Finally, Kimora initiated and wrote the entire Master of Arts in

Organizational Management (MAOM) with an emphasis in Resources (HR) for Concordia

University. Human The program was approved by Concordia University in December, 2001. The first

cohort was initiated in June, 2002.
