Job Summary
The key purpose of this role is to deliver content and communications to
increase supporter engagement, maximise conversions and generate
income.
The Content and Communications Executive will copywrite, create and
manage Rainbow Trust content for a variety of outputs and audiences,
and will manage communications with supporters across multiple
channels.
The postholder will be responsible for creating and scheduling content for
all Rainbow Trust social media channels and will manage day-to-day
online and offline content responsibilities including e-newsletters and
email campaigns to supporters, magazines, blogs, news articles and
appeals.
Family stories are at the heart of our content strategy, and the postholder
will work collaboratively to ensure the voice of the families and Family
Support Workers show the impact we have and the difference we make to
families’ lives. Working with a variety of people, including visiting Care
teams to spend time with Family Support Workers, they will source family
story content then create outputs in close collaboration with the Multi-
Channel Designer.
The post holder will live the Rainbow Trust Values and proactively
communicate with our suppliers and colleagues across all functions and
levels.

Areas of Responsibility

· Lead on copywriting, creating and commissioninga variety of compelling content
that inspires and engages current and potentialsupporters.
· Manage Rainbow Trust social media channels –creating, writing scheduling posts
to help increase awareness, engagement andfollowing, daily community
management and engaging with target audiences andaccounts.
· Take ownership of populating and managing thecross-channel content calendar
and delivering outputs.
· Write content for - and work alongside Multi-ChannelDesigner to create and
deliver - printed magazines, reports and other supporterrelated materials.
· Regularly write content for the website,including blogs and news stories.
· Manage the Rainbow Trust Family Stories resource- copywriting stories for
cross-channel usage, owning the family image libraryand ensuring recorded
consent is always up to date.
· Write and deliver email campaigns and e-newslettersfor supporters.
· Be the first point of call for all proofreadingneeds of the organisation.
· Co-ordinate content needs internally, ensuringwe maximise opportunities for
cross channel content delivery.
· Collaborate closely with Care teams to ensure areliable pipeline for content from
the Families we support.
· Work both independently and alongsideMulti-Channel Designer to commission
and create assets for Rainbow Trustchannels and campaigns.
· Align online and offline communications and beproactive in developing content
for cross-channel usage, with a digital-firstapproach.
· Ensure a consistent visual identity and tone ofvoice, acting as a brand champion
for the organisation.
· Support the Digital Manager and DigitalExecutive in assessing and improving
website structure, supporter journeys andother discrete digital projects.
Participate and present in team meetings andtrain and support colleagues.
