You would never buy a pair of jeans without trying them on so can you imagine selecting a college without first visiting it? Visiting a campus is the best way to know for sure whether it’s right for you, and we encourage you to try out as many colleges as you can before you decide.

At King’s, you’ll feel right at home as soon as you walk on campus—people will say hello and strangers will offer you directions. There’s a vibe that you’ll only pick up on if you spend a little time with us. We can’t say for sure whether King’s is right for you, but you won’t know until you come see for yourself.

There’s a strong sense of community, fostered over our 65-year history by the Congregation of Holy Cross from the University of Notre Dame. Whether it’s joining a club, playing on a NCAA Division III sports team, volunteering or expressing yourself through the arts, you’ll be encouraged to join in the action.

There’s plenty to do on and off campus—we’re just a couple of hours from all the major East Coast cities, making it possible to see the sites or head home for a weekend. Since our campus is self-contained, students have a feeling of safety and comfort as they come and go.

With over 97% of our first-year students receiving financial aid, King’s is committed to making a private education affordable. We will work to provide as much financial support as possible and guarantee that students attending here will receive a valuable education. With accessible professors and a student/faculty ratio of 14:1, we can ensure a personalized education for everyone. Because we control our enrollment, students are able to get the classes they need and are more likely to complete their degree in four years. That means King’s students finish paying tuition and start earning a salary earlier than their state-system peers.

Sound good? Then you’ve got to come see King’s for yourself. Take a campus tour and visit classrooms, residence halls, dining areas, the campus center and athletic facilities. You’ll meet some of our great faculty and staff, along with students—all of which will give you a feel for the type of person King’s attracts. If you want to talk with an admission or financial aid counselor, attend a class or meet with an athletic representative, let us know in advance and we’ll arrange it.

If you like what you see, come to an open house and attend information sessions on majors, financial aid, athletics and social/service activities. Seniors can preview college for a day by attending a class, meeting faculty and eating in our Marketplace Café. For a real feel for residence life, stay overnight on campus with a King’s student and take part in the many activities going on.

You’re invited to come any time, but the best time to visit is when school is in session so you can get a true feel for what our campus is like. Whenever you decide to come, we recommend scheduling your visit in advance so we can make your time here as complete as possible. We’re easy to get to from anywhere on the East Coast and have plenty to do and see when you come. There are malls, cineplexes and restaurants only minutes from campus. Our bookstore is located right down the street in a Barnes & Noble/Starbucks Café so stop by for some King’s souvenirs and a cup of coffee. Local venues offer concerts, Triple A baseball and minor league hockey. The Shoppes at Montage have it all and if you like the outdoors, check out the nearby Pocono mountains for great skiing, snowboarding, hiking and mountain biking.
