Rendezvous Lodge

The Rendezvous resort offers a variety of activities

for adventure lovers and outdoorsmen such as:-Grizzly Bear Tours: These are photographic tours that give

tourists an opportunity to take pictures from 5 different platforms. These are completely safe and no risk of injury from bears. It is not uncommon to see about 18 bears per tour. The price is $349 (U.S. Dollars)

-Sea Kayaking: These rides are a fantastic way to experience the winds and waves of the British Colombian waters, the solitude of the many caves and special places only accessible through kayaking.

-Float Plane Tours: These are tours in a mail and frieght plane. During the tour, you stop at three remote postal stations. These are Refuge Cove on West Redonda Island, Surge Narrows on Read Island, and Big Bay on Stewart Island. The cost is $229 a person (U.S. Dollars)

Attractions and Activities

The dining at Rendezvous Lodge is one that is rusitc and has an

outdoors feeling. Here are a few of the items offered from each menu:Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 9:00-Continental Breakfast:                                                                             Includes breakfast breads, toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit, juice and coffee or tea

Old Fashion Breakfast:                                                                           2 eggs prepared how you like um, bacon, toast, muffin, or breakfast bread

Dining

Dinner is very unique at the Rendezvous Resort.

All of the dinner is served on hot volcanic granite. It is EXTREMELY hot and is not recommended for children under 12. Some examples of food often served are:

All of the rooms at the Rendezvous Resort are eco-friendly, and with a wide

variety of creature comforts, such as: Individual caribou down comforters in each room, your personal terry robe, at the most two king sized beds and baths.

There are also a variety of suites available to guests, such as:-Broughton and Galliano suites: both of these offer fantastic ocean views

-Puget, Maurellel, and Quadra suites: all of these offer great forest and fauna views.

-The Eagle's Nest suite: this suite offers the best of the previous suites and a skylight view so you can enjoy the night sky.

Both the Eagle’s Nest and the Quadra are oversized and furnishedwith a futon to accommodate another guest.

For guests that want an even more private

setting then your rooms or suites, there is the Tree House Lodge that accustoms comfortably six people.

It has two bedrooms, a full bathroom and a sitting area.

The Tree House Lodge

The Rendezvous Lodge is on a remote island

in the Discovery Islands and is only accessible by boat, plane, float plane or helicopter. There is easy access to the resort from Vancouver,

Seattle and the Cambpell river.
