General Terms and Conditions
The client is financially responsible for any damage sustained to either venue or equipment used.
Guests are responsible for the removal of all personal rubbish.
If you choose to use equipment hire, please see our list of preferred suppliers (provided on request) as they are familiar
with the particular requirements of the Royal Botanic Gardens. Maximum size for a marquee is 6m x 6m.
Parking is available in Birdwood Avenue, Dallas Brooks Drive, and Domain Road. Parking within the Gardens is not
available. Wheelchair access/Disabled parking is available on Birdwood Avenue.
Guests are not permitted onto garden beds, to handle the plants or to climb trees. Please encourage children to respect
the garden while they play.
The Children’s Garden is a non-smoking area.
BYO alcohol but no glassware, please bring paper or plastic cups instead.
Please leave dogs at home.
To maintain our beautiful gardens please no: bikes, scooters, frisbees or balls.
Please no confetti, balloons, or tying bunting to trees.
BYO Picnic rugs.
No BBQs or cooking.
Background music and acoustic bands are allowed, permission must be requested for an amplified band.
In wet weather the event will be moved to the Activity Shelter in the Children’s Garden.
Please meet at The Gathering Area 15 minutes prior to the commencement of your event.
It is required that all guests comply with the Royal Botanic Garden Regulations.
