Party Details • To reserve your party date and time, members must speak with Adele Taylor, Preschool & Family Director, and make payment in full.

• Party dates will not be reserved without payment in full.

• YMCA members ONLY can book parties and must remain at the facility until all guests leave.

• Party room will be available to you 30 minutes before your party time so you can decorate and set up food.

• Please note that our facility closes at 8:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

• Check in at the front lobby with our Party Greeter when you arrive. When your

guests check in, they will receive a wrist band for entry.

• The YMCA will provide a flatbed that you can use to carry supplies from your car. You may enter at back of building after checking in with your Party Greeter. Please move your car to the front parking lot once items are unloaded into the room.

• Room will be set up with nine 5’ round tables and chairs for 50 guests plus three 6’ rectangle tables for food or gifts.

• Kitchen amenities available-microwave, stove, refrigerator, freezer, icemaker and sink.

• Appropriate decorations include-table coverings, balloons, party signs-please no glitter or confetti.

• At the end of party, please put all trash in trashcans, clean up kitchen, clear out all belongings, and take down all decorations and tape.

• Prior to entering pool, all party guests will have a brief visit from a lifeguard. This will be held prior to entering the pool and will help our staff explain the pool rules, identify areas where children can swim and be sure everyone is aware of our policies. Swim time will be from 6-8 pm (Fri), 5–7 pm (Sat/Sun).

• For the pool, one chaperone per 3 children under the age of 6 must be in the water and within arm’s reach.

• Adult chaperones must be present at all times in the party room, pool, and locker rooms.

• Members are responsible for the behavior of all your party guests. Please abide by facility rules and policies.

• Shirts and shoes required in all areas other than pool.

• Pool Check Schedule-School year-10 minutes before the hour for 10 minutes, Summer-15 minutes before the hour for 15 minutes.

• The YMCA is a Tobacco free campus-inside and out.

• Cancellations must be made no later than 48 hours prior.

SAFE POOLS HAVE RULES

TEST-All children 12 and under who want to swim in water deeper than their chest must pass the swim test. MARK-All children 12 and under must wear a swim band that correlates with his or her swimming ability. PROTECT-All non-swimmers must remain in shallow water. If the water in the shal-low end is deeper than a non-swimmer’s armpits, then they must also have one of the following layers of protection: ⧫ must be within arm’s reach of a parent or guardian (16+) -max kids per adult=3 ⧫ must be wearing a Coast Guard approved lifejacket ⧫ non-swimmers aged 5 and under must be within arm’s reach of a parent or guardian regardless if they are wearing a Coast Guard approved lifejacket or if they have passed the swim test.

* Children must meet the height requirement in order to enjoy our water slide.

• Obey the lifeguard at all times. • Proper swimming attire required.- no cutoff shorts or T-shirts; (polyester/spandex/nylon clothing is acceptable). • Children not yet toilet trained must wear a swim diaper in the

water. • Do not enter the water if you are experiencing or recovering

from diarrhea. • Shower completely with soap before entering the pool. • Eating, drinking or glass objects not permitted in pool area,

locker rooms or showers. • Children 5 and under must be actively supervised by an adult in the water within arm’s reach; no more than 3 children per adult. • Children12 and under must pass a swim test in order to swim in

water above their armpits; exceptions may be made for children who are within arm’s reach of a parent or guardian (16 years or older).

• Only Coast Guard approved flotation devices are permitted. • The following activities are prohibited: running, pushing,

dunking, rough housing, diving, flips, twists, backward jumps, throwing balls or other objects, prolonged breath-holding, and hanging on lifelines or lane markers.

• Enter the water facing forward, feet first . Diving only permitted outside in diving well.

• The YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
