We are fully into the swing of the school year and we are very happy to have you all with us! 11:30 AM Dismissal The hallways are beginning to get crowded at 11:30 AM dismissal. When picking up your child inside, please wait in the gathering space in front of the office until the classes are dismissed. Classrooms are easily disrupted when parents come to the door to take a child home. Feel free to utilize the carpool line at the 11:30 dismissal as well. Thank you for your cooperation! No School - October 12 and 13 There will be no school next week Thursday and Friday due to teacher in-services. Golf Outing The golf outing on Monday was a big success! It was absolutely won- derful seeing all of the support for our school. I would like to give HUGE shout out to Gina Rhodes for working tirelessly to make this a fantastic event. This fundraising event for our students would not have been possible without her dedication. Thank you, Gina!! I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to EVERYONE who donated raffle/auction items, money, or their time to the golf outing. We rely on the support of the families from our school and parish to keep the school going. The golf outing is one of our most important fundrais- ers and we were truly overwhelmed by its success. On behalf of the St. Paul School teachers and staff we would like to thank you all from the bottoms of our hearts for your dedication and support. Walk with us! Saturday, October 21,

2017 at Mount Mary University

Watkins Sale: Just a reminder that Watkins orders are due by Oct.19. I will also take orders over the phone or through email. Also, please return any catalogs as we do get a credit for them. Thank you.

For questions contact, Barb Berner: 262-565-8186 [email protected]

Book Fair Volunteers: Setting up for book fair on Monday morning, November 6, and taking down on Mon-day morning, November 13, is still in need of a few more volunteers. If you can help, go to Sign Up Genius under [email protected] and find St. Paul Scholastic Book Fair 2017 or call Mrs. Berner at 262-565-8186 or by email. Thank you.

ART and PRAYER:

Just as the women of Bethany supported each other, let us gather together to “encourage one another and build one another up" (1 Thess 5:11). ALL ladies (12 and up) are invited: mark your calendar for Saturday, October 7, 9-11am at St. Bruno. The 20+ women who created in June had a MARVELOUS time! See all the fun and finished products here: http://www.stpaulgenesee.net/womens-group

We will be talking about prayer, creating two pieces of framed alcohol ink art, and sharing fellowship, food and of course prayer. This opportunity is limited to 25 participants; the cost will be $10. The two pieces you create will provide a background for a short bible or inspirational verse you can choose from that day.

Contact Mary Kral for more information. Mary works in the parish office with Adult Formation and in a past career taught at St Paul School for 9 years! Mary assures you: You do NOT have to be an artist to participate: "Do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God, is with you." (Joshua 1:9) Sign up on the link below.

Free Clothing Share:

Need a place to take unwanted items....Then this is the place!! The Fall FREE CLOTHING SHARE will be held in our Parish Life Center/lower level, on FRIDAY, October 13 from 8:00am to 4:00pm and on SATURDAY, October 14 from 8:00am to 1:00pm. Donations may be dropped off on Thurs., October 12 from 12:00(noon)-8pm OR anytime during the hours on Friday. Tax receipts are availa-ble upon request. Items include but by no means limited to: clothing for women, men & children, ba-by items, coats, shoes, toys, books, small house hold items, holiday decorations, purses. Just about anything seen at a garage sale is here (NO large furniture), and all is FREE! Again, there is no cost & items do not have to be brought in to take what is needed. Everyone is encouraged to bring your own bags to use. This is a great community service where donations are greatly appreciated to share with others! Help is needed on Saturday, October 14 to help pack up remaining items & clean up starting at 1pm, AND to deliver remaining items to St. Vincent DePaul in Waukesha. Please contact Jerie @ (262) 968-3474 with any questions or if you would like to help! Thank You!
